Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Since I know we have a lot of Jennifer Lawrence fans in here, this is another one of those videos that makes me like her even more. Its her meeting Jack Nicholson for the first time right after the Oscars last night. Her reactions are awesome:

And she might not have won, but she's still my favorite redhead (which is a close 2nd to an Academy Award)

What was Christoph Waltz like in The Green Hornet, Water for Elephants, The Three Musketeers and Carnage?

I've only seen him in the two Tarantino movies, but I feel like I want him to have a role in everything. He is so likeable, even as a villain.

He's so out of place in The Green Hornet. :lol

Watched Raising Arizona for the first time today. Weird ******g movie :rollin ... Like what the hell the dude on the harley? Felt like that whole thing was out of left field. Holly Hunter looks so different in this movie than she does now, it's astonishing. Cage was good, but felt like he was a dumber version of the guy he was in Con Air :lol

John Goodman was John Goodman. Solid. Thought the random dialogue was funny. "Ya ate sand?" "We ate all kinds of weird stuff." "..Ya ate sand?" :lol

It was alright. Don't know if I'd ever watch it again. Love the Coen Brothers, but don't know if this one did it for me. Was hoping for a Fargo like effect, but it just never made it. Liked Blood Simple better. Whenever I get around to it.. Miller's Crossing is next up on my list.

Wanderlust was fricking hilarious

"Imma give her that ****!"

That part alone makes it worth watching. I wonder how many takes it took them to film that scene because if I was Paul Rudd I would not have been able to keep it together.

Funny you ask that. Fell asleep for a minute last night, wife took over the remote, when I woke up Water for Elephants was on. :lol

He plays a douche, a real douche. And he plays it well.

Was striking, he seemed almost exactly like his characters under Tarantino, just with less precise dialogue. But his speech patterns are exactly the same. Movie was eh, but I enjoyed seeing him.

Honestly tho, I couldn't get over the fact that team Edward's character was named Jacob. Really guys? :{

Carnage, now that one, you would want to watch that film. That is a great play, in film form. 4 adults, Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Waltz, and funny dude......Step Brothers, oppo Farrell......Forget his damn name all the time, they sit in an apartment and have a discussion involving their kids, it is very entertaining somehow. I say watch it, if you can find it.

Green Hornet. :lol Well, everyone needs a paycheck I guess.

I need to see Waltz do something very different. its getting to the point where I think he has the same mannerisms and approach is every movie.   granted I've seen 3 performances plus SNL

I don't even remember Waltz in Green Hornet :lol but that movie was forgettable. It's a similar weird role as villain to Kevin Bacon in Super.

In the end credits there were outtakes with improvising and different lines :lol Paul Rudd was saying some nasty ****.

Son hyped himself up and then came out and botched the job. I had to cover my eyes.

I understand that and notice it too. It's like he's usually coming with this demeanor that makes you uneasy, keeps you off-kilter in a charming way.

Literally, the only part really worth watching. But I cried. Came outta nowhere. :lol
You know overall, the movie was everywhere and not that funny but I enjoyed the very different and foreign setting and premise. Most times when I think commune I think cult so the whole hippie angle drew me in a bit in to that world. Only other thing I've seen is the real life/reality tv version where it's like True Life: I'm living off the land. At first I thought they were just a nudist colony but what they did made it a lil more interesting. I mean I'd do it if all the chicks were hot. I almost made a thread about could you drop a deuce with multiple ppl in the same room with you, no doors, waiting for you to finish and making serious eye contact :lol
