Peyton Manning released by Colts. He signed with the Broncos, really? Is Tebowmania dead?

Js look at the position we are in man.

A young/REAL QB on the way, millions in cap room and a team full of hungry dudes who want it.

No more old guys, bloated contracts, clowns who don't give a damn....real football people in the front office. Gah start the season now. Can't #*%$* wait!

Should be good enough for a solid third place finish in your division.  Good luck though.

And the Jets think they're giving Sanchez the vote of confidence he needs to take another step to the next level.

Foolish.

Jets got so many other holes to fill that Sanchez extension isnt the biggest of problems.

The East will definitely be "interesting", to say the least.

The Colts have been wildin out the last couple days. Ill support PM wherever he goes and Id like to see him win another ting before its all said and done. Maybe another team can give him squad of decent player to surround him. Especially a Defense. At the end of the day Im a Colts fan though. I cant cheer on any other team, Ive loved the Colts ever since I can remember. Even through the Harbaugh days. I dont agree with all of the decisons theyved made the last couple days. I think letting a possibly healtht Manning just walk, is an extremely dumb thing to do. Hey at least they are consistent, they reaaly did sweep house. Mathis is the only player thats staying for sure. Its going to be hard getting used to watching this entirely new team. They are going to struggle for a couple years @ least too. Probably more high draft picks to come. I hope they have one hell of a plan for the draft and FA though. As of right now this team, and more importantly this offense isnt really gonna cut it for this year.

We are not talking about replacing him with Jason Campbell or Chad Henne, we are talking about freaking Peyton Manning. If he is healthy and wants to come to SF, it is a NO-BRAINER

You obviously haven't been keeping up with Peyton's status. No brainer?
Dude has ONE GOOD HIT to ruin the rest of his career. His arm strength isn't up to par. Like you said IF healthy, and thats a huge if bruh

.

Alex Smith did play a @%*%!% NFC title game I must admit. But seriously B? You gonna act like you weren't screaming and rejoicing your !$% off when he split those two defenders to complete it to Davis in the end zone to seal the win? Or that bootleg to the house? Dude had the game of his life. Sit down somewhere.

Harbaugh trusts Smith A LOT from what it seems like. They've been rocking with him for THIS long and he's finally performed, why switch it up? Obviously Peyton's better but I just don't see it happening mane

Nah man his neck is fine. The fusion worked, and some would say hes no more likely to get hurt than any other QB in the league. The whole thing is about nerve generation and his ability to regain strength in his throwing arm. Notice how no one is really talking about whether or not Peyton is healthy. Im convinced that was all a PR stunt put on by Irsay. He will play and probably play another 3-5 years is my guess. Just as long as everyone imagined before he had to have the surgery. Lets not forget he still would gave been under contract, had PM not insisted on putting that 1st year option in. it was a straight up 5 year contract before

Dude has no, cero, zero, 0, locker room support, how you going to give him another 3 years 40 mill with 20 guarenteed? If the Jets don't make the playoffs again I wouldn't be surprised if they can Rex Ryan. I wouldn't even be mad. His act is straight up clownish. His first few comments were alright but now he has excuses and won't shut up.

Lead them IN not TO the playoffs. He played nicely in the playoffs (see Pats game) Still improving while the offense regressed (oline and rushing game) If Smith can get 6 rookies years dont see why Sanchez cant get some time

Peyton is just giving Denver a look out of respect for Elway. The Niners would probably be better with Peyton than Miami would be with Peyton. I mean look at what Vernon Davis did with Alex Smith as his QB. Him and Peyton would put up some big numbers.

You would like to see this be the case, but being the NY quarterback you will get owned if you fail .

Glad to see the Jets extending "The Sanchize"s contract

I look forward to seeing him suck for the next four years

Peyton Manning was in the building.

The free-agent quarterback arrived by Pat Bowlen's private plane about 1:35 p.m. today at the Centennial Airport. Accompanying Manning on the flight in were Broncos' front-office boss John Elway, head coach John Fox, general manager Brian Xanders and offensive coordinator Mike McCoy.

After departing the plane, Manning and the Broncos' contingency set off The Great Toyota Sequoia Chase.

A TV camera-equipped helicopter followed the Sequoia on its slow, short ride from the Centennial Airport to the Broncos' headquarters before the SUV disappeared into Bowlen's personal garage.

Driving the SUV was Fred Fleming, Bowlen's longtime assistant. Fox was in the front passenger seat. Elway

and Manning were in the back seat. Xanders and McCoy rode behind them.
Arguably the most decorated free agent in NFL history, Manning clearly has the Broncos on his short list of teams where he plans to finish his NFL career. The long-time Indianapolis Colts quarterback was released earlier this week amid concerns about four neck surgeries that forced him to miss the entire 2011 season, a $26 million bonus payment that was due and the team's opportunity to select highly prized quarterback Andrew Luck with the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

Manning, who turns 36 on March 24, has been cleared to throw by his neck specialist, Dr. Robert Watkins. One NFL source said Manning will also visit the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins after visiting with the Broncos. A source said Manning would like to make a decision by Tuesday, the first day of free agency.

The Manning visit began with Elway, Fox, Xanders and McCoy flying to Stillwater, Okla., where they attended the Oklahoma State pro day workout Friday morning that featured quarterback Brandon Weeden.

As the Broncos' contingent watched the Cowboys' pro day, the plane went on to Miami to pick up Manning, who has a condominium in South Florida. The plane

then flew Manning back to Stillwater, where it picked up the Broncos' group.
Manning toured the facility and met with the Broncos brass at Dove Valley until 7:15 p.m. when the group departed with a police car leading their way.

While Manning is unquestionably the Broncos' current top offseason priority, the team is also making time for option B. The Broncos have the No. 25 pick in the draft, plus the 25th selection in the second round. Weeden, who turns 29 in October, is considered the second-best passer to Luck in the draft. He is projected to be chosen between the Broncos' top two picks.

The pursuit of Manning creates doubt about Tim Tebow's future with the Broncos. It's possible the Broncos may keep Tebow, the incumbent quarterback who will draw a relatively modest $1.572 million this season, as a package player if they sign Manning. Or the team may try to trade him before the draft.

that means the colts are most likely going to suck.

Because I wanted Peyton to be our QB, dammit.
