I'm all in for MM8 because we need a smart, mobile QB to run that **** Chip wants to run. We don't need a burner, just someone to pick up 5 yards when the opening is there and then slide or get out of bounds. Foles legs made of wooden pegs. MM8 just looks so polished and bout his business.

Not sure why I'm over McCoy. But if I had to guess it's because I want a downhill runner and Sproles gives uz that Shady open field threat. McCoy low key had a nice *** season, which makes all us doubters look spoiled.

People are sipping that mm8 cool aid too much...shady has to restructure...i don't think sproles can carry the load for 16 plus games...

When we resign maclin, we'll have 3 solid WRs without cooper (I expect big things from Matthews and huff in their 2nd years and hopefully with better QB play) Then you have ertz, celek and burton (assuming casey is cut)

IF we could pull off that trade we could go RB in the 2nd or 3rd (like duke Johnson.. Or maybe even gurley), we still have polk and sproles





We can go heavy defense in free agency and with our remaining picks.. There are two positions you have to get in the draft and early in it QB and LT.. We lucked out with buffalo's situation with peters, but we had to give up a 1st to do it

Drew Brees, brett favre and Steve young are the only times in history I can think of all time guys being available.. And only 1 was through free agency

Peyton manning is there, but I don't really count him cause that was a Montana situation

don't get me wrong.. I'm not against us staying put and drafting trae Waynes (if he makes it to us in the 1st) and then trying to get hundley in the 2nd (again if we can)

But if we can solidly our QB spot, it would be well worth the trade I proposed..

Foles would then be expendable.. And we get out slightly early on shady (he'll be 27 at the start of next season and history has shown what happens to RB once they hit 30)




Plus it leaves us a ton of money to go out and address our needs at cb and s.. Which we have to do anyways since we need 2 CBs and a safety

We can go RB by committee even more next year with polk, sproles and a draft pick.. Or one of our practise squad guys or a cheap free agent

I look at our team and think we need new starters at: QB, both CB spots, safety, ILB and OLB

Depending on what happens with smith II, that could solve one of the LB spots.. And we got by on the inside with casey and acho

We can also probably get worilds from the steelers for cheap for the OLB spot or at least for depth (which we do need)




If we can sign maxwell from the Seahawks or cox from the 49ers (or both).. Then we still have Boykin, Carroll and jaylen

Jenkins and maragos are the only safeties I want back and one is solely for special teams

Chip is standing by his mantra of "earning your spot and playing time". All coaches are stubborn to a point which often leads to their success or demise, only time will tell with Chip. I do like the fact that he sticks to what he believes in, but I do think he could and should switch up a few things with his philosophy.

But yea, might as well try to get this Breaux guy in here and see what he has since we'll have at least 2 vacancies at corner

I've been saying for a year now I think Foles ends up in Arizona after he's done with the Eagles. He seems like the perfect young QB for that team.

The Eagles have fired Tom Gamble, VP of player personnel. It may be announced as “parting ways” with Gamble but it is what it is.
