As far as non-crazy-rare mons go, I'd say Ponyta. It's moderately far away and really skinny, so you either have to throw it perfectly straight or be really accurate with a curveball to even hit it...

doubt they will have a thanksgiving event, not an event celebrated all over the world.

Halloween might not be celebrated heavily all around the world, but it's known.

i'd see a new year event happening.

Been had >100 candies.

And crobat probabky going to stink in the gyms so 1 for the dex will be enough.

Most likely will not be playing the game when the new gen comes out anyway.

And zubats too gone from eggs. that was like niantic trolling us hard when the egg hatched a pidgey, ratattta, zubat

And also now evee hatches from 5km instead of 10 km eggs thats also good because walking 10km for an evee was ridiculous when theyre pretty common to begin with.

I hatched a perfect voltorb the other day. Evolved to Electrode (for my first one) and can't decide if it is worth it to try and max it out. Only evolved to level 900 and some change.

Typically you want to spend stardust on a pokemon that can achieve a 2000 plus cp ( your snorlax lapras arcanine dragonite exeguttor gyrados vaporeon flareon etc ) basically the good gym defenders

I dont know man, I mean, it's a lot easier to find them, but not sure if It'll be just as fun..just the thrill and struggle of not knowing when and where the next pokemon will be found

I fit into the rare group that I collect 10 gym's worth of coins every 21 hours and have done so for the past month or so. I have 14 in gyms at the moment and could probably get it up to 20 if I wanted to.

So now I like throwing stuff in gyms that you don't see very often because the aforementioned mons are a dime a dozen. That's why I like tossing a maxed Ninetales, Hypno, Slowbro in gyms to switch things up.
