i have 5 atm, hard finding a gym that stays up for a while in my town, post office gym has been team valor for almost 2 months i think, had a free spot and i dropped off my 2400 cp dnite and i am 2/10...

Apparently now you get a bonus XP for your first pokemon catch of the day and first pokestop spin of the day and more xp/stardust on the 7th consecutive day of pokemon catching/pokestop spinning.

That's weird I got the extra on my first catch and first poke stop this morning on my way to work.

Confirmed. Yesterday, I had caught other mons earlier in the day, but when I restarted/logged in yesterday evening, I saw the "first mon of the day" bonus- it must've taken effect between log-ins.
I also noticed a lot of trouble spinning Stops today while driving. Usually I have no trouble at all spinning them while driving past at 35+ mph. Today, the first two at 35 mph said "Try again later", then the next two were fine, while stopped. Then one at 20-25 mph said "Try again later". At very low speed (under 20 mph) it still seemed to work. But it's not a perfect theory because I got one or two "Try again laters" while stopped. It's possible the app was thrown off by the fact that I was moving just seconds before spinning on those, though. hmm...
The spawn points have definitely moved. For me, they are pretty similar in arrangement, but some have shifted 20 yards north, others 20 yards east (at least the ones by my house). This is good for me, because some that were on the edge of detection from my house are now easier to pick up; the one that went east is still within range

Had the same issue with poke stops saying try again later. And since I have been at work my gps has acted up, showing me all over the place but not giving me credit for any distance walked,

I kinda miss my old phone for the fact that the GPS was (apparently) much less accurate. It used to jump around a lot and I'd get walking credit for sitting at my desk. It wasn't much, but every little bit helps. Current phone never jumps around and stays locked on to my exact spot

They increased the spawn durations from 15min to 30min so you'll see more clusters like that.

Mine was literally jumping a 1/2 mile away and then back all day long. I have never had it move more then a couple steps in the past from my office. Good part was it jumping to the poke stop at Amazon that was spawning a ton all day.

"try again later." When i would be a passenger was the best time to rack up items from stops. This sucks.
And now gyms can be taken down easily since they increased the amount of prestige taken off when battling gyms. And if youre training your gym it's going to take longer now since the prestige you earn is way less now.
Niantic doing all this and still no type of tracker.

my house is literally a pokestop and i sometimes get the TRY AGAIN LATER when i spin the stop...and thats me chilling in my house, not in a car going 30mph.....its kinda buggy id sayYup reddit going crazy with the pokestops not working anymore if youre in a car."try again later." Dang just had that happened. A stretch of road on my way home got 6 consecutive stops.

they just doubled up the loot drops to make up for the speed restrictions. 6+ items per stop. I guess i'll have to walk to get my items from now on.

Yeah with the new changes no one will want to build up a gym past level 8 anymore.

Yeah, I had plenty of Try Again Laters happen even when I wasn't moving today, but speed did seem to have an effect. Close to 20 mph was 50/50, while 15 mph and below worked most of the time. 25-30 mph and up was definitely a no-go. So it's buggy but I agree that you need to stay below 20 mph to have a better chance of it working.

Did some "research" this morning on the pokestop thing on driving over 30mph. While on my way to class I hit about 25 pokestops out of the possible 30-35 there are, all gave me 6+ items and only got try again later 2x but re spun them and got my items so yea
