Issue a statement just saying something as simple as justice for all
It's people like u that are too narrowminded to see the big picture
And one of the main reasons the world is how it is with prejudice all around
Getting free shoes wouldn't be the point
It would be to RAISE AWARENESS

It would make headlines
And draw attention
News coverage would constantly be talking about Nike and them helping to raise awareness

if iuno many of you recall but hollister and abercombie i believe in the early 2000's came out with a line of tees etc.. that had racist remarks and cartoons of asians etc...including some that had asian women being submissive washing white ppl feet etc... and a chubby asian guy bowing to a white guy hand-washing his clotthes with a old school hand washer. and yea they protested etc... in large numbers for a hot second, but that was short lived and look at it today... a many of asians etc... still rocking a and e hollister etc.

Think about that,

lets say you are smart enough, enterprising enough, you hustle HARD enough to overcome ****** public schools, violence, all the ills of a poverty stricken neighborhoods; you somehow make it out of that, you get a scholarship, you go to a good school, you get a good *** job, and then you want to pass on this wealth to your children, you want your children to grow up in a neighborhood thats consummate with your the level of success that AGAINST ALL ODDS you managed to attain, get a place that will give your child a chance to end the cycle of poverty and build capital and investments that will last generations.


but you can't get into good neighborhoods because Donlad and Shelly don't want you, you can't get a loan for an expensive house cause you don't have "upward mobility" :x


and people want to talk about "culture" there is real tangible **** holding black people back, but people when talk about "black leaders".

no thats not what i am saying... what i was saying that movement was huge.... and it did work... but that is because they completely stop shopping the brands, sent tons of letters emails etc... stop working there the whole nine yards for a long period of time.

I remember it cause it was early niketalk/nike palace days etc... and thats how i heard of it and alot of the members on nt was making a HUGE deal about it...petitions and the whole nine...(that also kinda lead me to know alot or good majority of nt is asian etc...) and then from there i saw online at that one site that was like myspace/blackplanet but for the asian community and it was all over there as well.

Thing is i honestly dont think your gonna get a vast majority of black social sites like lipstick alley, or facebook. or twitter, instagram etc.... to which blacks will be like no show september... or by the 100,000's of thousands writing in and complaining to corporations etc and then theres the not buying the products not working for the companies for a long extended period of time is my point.
