Awesome colors. Any pics of the overall design. I'm always in the minority of people I talk to about putting down a plastic flooring. Either it be Swisstrax or Race Deck. I freaking LOVE my RaceDeck flooring. It has made the garage (which is half the first floor in our townhouse) a lot warmer, even in the dead of winter when it's below freezing outside.

The garage is a nice low 50s since the cold concrete is covered. And walking on it is a lot nicer than a hard concrete pad. People tend to hate the "click clack" while walking on it. Meh, doesn't bother me one bit. It does make the garage look finished, which is nice. 👍👍

No glamor shots yet, but I’ll post them when everything is cleaned up. I actually enjoy the sound of the tiles. Having the floors done really elevates the feel of a garage. I’m extremely happy I pulled the trigger when Swisstrax had 20% off for Labor Day.

Some hotrods I saw at Lake George & Glens Falls(next town over) where they were having a little car show & street fair. Was talking to the owner of a '32 Ford & he was such a nice guy he actually let me sit inside of it- what an experience :)). He bought the car 68 years ago & was truly an OG. And my lil nephew with his dad at the go kart track.

This is Chassis #36. Formerly owned Mansour Ojjeh, the head of Tag Group & former Co-Owner of McLaren, and one of the 4 people who were involved with creating the F1 (along with Gordon Murray, Ron Dennis & Creighton Brown). Its owned by the person who bought it from Ojjeh and he drives it a lot. So it's a 2-owner car, and completely original. Was a sight to see. That makes 3 F1s I've seen so far. 🙏🙏

Other stuff like usual, though an F40 came in as well. That is still one of my favorite modern Ferraris of all time. Oh, and a Lotus Esprit V8 Twin. 2003, the last year of them! Final edition. Formerly owned by the drummer from Pantera.

F1 is the goat 🐐

It's an amazing piece of engineering, especially being it's almost 30 years old and it still holds up today. I know some don't like his videos, but Doug's review of Jay Leno's F1 was one of the best ones he's done. And going for a ride with Jay (Doug gets temp insurance when he drives cars but couldn't get it to drive an F1), the stories Jay tells about it are legendary. Especially when Jay just mats the throttle, and the tires break loose.....IN 4th 😱😱 for a split second so Jay can show how much power it has.

This car, if and when you see one, is much smaller than it always appears in photos. You expect it to be a large car, especially with that S70/2 BMW V12, but it isn't. It's a very compact and small car. The overall length is 168.8 (14' 1").

To put that in perspective of a car everyone knows the size of, it's 5 inches or so smaller than a Porsche Cayman!! Think about that! A Cayman, has a 4-cylindet or the flat 6. This has a V12. Unbelievable!! The packaging and design are just otherworldly. I highly recommend the book Driving Ambition, which is the story about the car from the people at McLaren. Book is out of print and copies vary in price (some go for several hundred) but worth the read to learn how they went about building it.

It was so worth getting up early to get a good spot and see it drive in. I do regret not asking Kevin Hines, (the only tech in the US who's trained to work on it for McLaren and Philly being the only dealer) to see the tool kit. It's a special titanium set by Facom. Supposedly the wrenches it comes with weight almost nothing when you hold one in your hand. Maybe next time.

That's the book!! Got my copy many years ago before the prices went crazy. Did you get the poster with every chassis number with your copy? How far have you gotten in it? The size of the book makes it kinda rough to read anywhere other than at a table. But it's so darn informative and good. The stories in it are next level. I gotta go back to get. Left of around page 130 I believe. It's been a while.

I got a used copy, not in the best condition but i also don’t mind reading it cause it’s used. No poster. It’s an amazing book. Nice to meet another F1 nut.

Really can't believe they're going to produce this.

Not even is the S58 can save this thing. Looks like a Dodge Avenger and a R34 had a baby.

BMW hasn’t designed a good vehicle in ages. It’s so sad. Used to be so good looking. Their cuvs are even worse. I just don’t get it.

I been telling yall some dudes in BMW need jail time for their recent butchering of cars. The M3/M4 and now this? This looks like a GTA V bodykit.
