Does anyone know if the Diablosport Trinity T-1000 is worth the buy? What are the pros and cons if installed in my SRT8? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I'd be the happiest kid on the planet if I got my hands on a 79 impala
Really? Dare to dream man, that's one of the worst Impala models, just ahead of post 1996 Impalas, IMO
bro the bent rear glass?
Posi rear end 350 v8 ? That model is beautiful homie

 a malaise era 350 that produces all of 165hp and a 3 speed slushbox... Looks are subjective, but their performance was :x in the worst way. They're still great cruisers and good candidates to swap and build though.

Another funny thing about Impalas is the 2000+ W-Body SS that everyone hates is actually faster the 94-96 B-Body.

lol I won't argue about performance there's always room for improvement for that

Chevy pisses me off sometimes small block v8 with front wheel drive then they make a great designed impala but no ss version aint that a *****

Don't get it twisted, I got nothing against that model, I'd roll one. What I meant was the older models, and the 1993-1996 SS's, look much better, that's all. When you look at the impala line as a whole, the fish bowl ones don't exactly stand out as the nicest.

I feel you homie no harm I get what you're saying about the comparisons

Hell just yesterday I was just thinking about that same thing compared to other models they look like a bunch of sheet metal slapped together lol but with this model it stands out more (a Lil bit)

i have an 07 mazda6 about 110k miles

had to get a tire changed the other day. decided to get 2 and replace the most worn out one, they recommended i put the new ones in the rear. as soon as i pull off the steering wheel starts going crazy, like shaking left and right, up and down and if i let go it drifts pretty strongly to the right. i used to be able to control the wheel with the tip of my finger but now theres some actual pressure from it drifting. I NEVER felt anything like that until they changed the tires

My dad brought it back and they told him its the ball joints, and now i have to replace all 4 because apparently on this car its all connected..

What do you guys think? its gonna be like $1400

Sounds like they did a poor job and damaged your ride, there's no way the car could drive worse after new tires vs. before....

Changing a tire doesn't involve the ball joints, just removing the rim and then lugging it back on...unless they were messing with the alignment?

what kind of place did you go to? I strictly do tire work at costco since the warranty is great..
that sounds fishy

Brought it to pep boys at first

Went to the dealership where i got the car today and they fixed it. He said it had nothing to do with the ball joints, he just did an alignment and some other things. got new brakes and it came out to around 500. Saved me a thousand, definitely never going back to pep boys :smh:

that's Wasup homie good move

I knew something was up lol sounds like pep boys had the birdman hands out for your whip

Jesus....NEVER go to pep boys or jiffy lube, ever ever ever...

2-3 years ago my toyota broke down right when I got off the fwy, it was on a friday so I decided to get it diagnosed @ pep/jiffy since my mechanic is closed on weekends, they said I'll need a new engine, something like $1200 for another 5S-FE...the next monday I had my mechanic (Toyota specialists) look at it, turned out it it was just bad spark plugs, $100 and it was back to normal...:x

just proves that these chain/franchise shops SUCK, they cannot be trusted. Best place to go is to a specialist mechanic with a good reputation.

i didnt even know it still existed. surprised no one in this thread mentioned alignment, woulda thought it would have been the first answer. the whole story was :x

everyone is crooked these days, SMH even dealerships.

I think the key to finding a good shop is to find someone who is actually passionate about cars and did some racing back in the day. Also if u see alotta custom and rare cars in their lot its usually a good sign. Also if none of the cars look like theyve been their for years is also a good sign.

The mechanic shop i trust alot the guy used to do sum racing and won an award for fastest transmission rebuild.

I thought it was obviously an alignment or balancing issue.

Pep Boys some crooks. I dont even like going to Autozone with them fake *** street mechanics trying to fix your car in the parking lot.

Man unless you plan on doing heavy modding idk why you would get that instead of the i-dcx1000.

You get real time info with the trinity but unless throwing on a blower or nitrous I don't know why you would need that.

I hear ya, that glass is unique. I like the 70's glasshouse impalas too, always wanted a 1976. Almost traded for a 1975 vert back in the day, wish I'd made that deal now. One day I will own my dream car, a 1959 Impala Vert.

Most of the big cars of the 80's have that same rectangular style as that 79 Impala, but without the curved glass, complete with pathetic engines, but I like alot of cars from that era  . I've owned 4 80's G-Bodies (2 Cutlass', 1 Monte Carlo, 1 Regal), and a 1982 Coupe Deville. :smokin

I want one of these bad.. Sprayed candy, interior, switches, and a nice sound systems is all I want.

Maybe I'm just starting to grow up, and nostalgia is kickin it, but lately I'm love with some old school whips. A few years ago, I always dreamed of only riding in the year that I'm in. Now an 80's and early 90's Benz looks so attractive to me. I want to buy two and completely restore them. Have me ridin around like I'm starring in Paid In Full :smokin
