Ended up returning both of these to target not too long ago just cause of size, and picked these up insteadpicked these up today on a whim. Still on the fence on the smaller sized figures but I figured I’d give them a try

The fact these cost almost as much as my SOC Voltron and Dairugger makes it difficult to justify a purchase but they’re freakin pretty cool!
they look small but the dimensions say they are big. so which one is it?i'm buying them despite the cost, any transforming Voltron is getting a purchase by me

oh that's small then. my lucky cat figure is bigger than that. hope that Lucky Cat would release a Dairugger XV version. that would be awesome.6in tall combined? that's pretty small, good size for a SD. I think Altimites DX from Toynami was about that height
and $125 back in 2015, i can see the higher price with inflation and more accessories and extra transformation like the leg covers/switches with the Action Toys ver. Cant wait to compare all of them

with the pricing, it's just scalping rather than justified inflation considering these are not official releases.
there was that korean made Fantasy Jewel line SOC Voltron knock-off. initially they were selling them for like $150 - $200 or something as pre-order back then. I almost bought one initially. those are now selling $250-$300. for a knock-off, they are way over their heads. not to mention heard and read reviews how bad the quality on those are. so now, I'm just saving for a Dairugger XV and waiting for the release of the Robo-Dou Voltron figure later this year. I'm about a month away from buying the Dairugger figure. lost a $100 bucks today for buying an audiophile headphone. Are you sure these aren't WEP approved? Its hard to get a Voltron out without WEP saying something, I think Lucky Cat Elvis is the first one they actually let by by they were not cool with the Mad Toys/Bu Toys/Icarus Toys Beast Gokin until they actually went thru the proper channels

what's you level in kit building? I may need some advice on the matter.Went a little crazy this past week and grab some more transformers but honestly not that into them for one reason or another. All of them from Make toys
I grabbed the the stand-alone Devine shooter because I thought it would pair well with the the combined form, but the figure ended up being kinda small and it honestly feels like folded up mess of plastic. Also thought it was going to be a bit bigger. On the bright side it comes with double weapons for thunder Manus. 5/10
I also picked up the striker manus and Buster wing (jet fire) I mostly got it because they combine but I think I like them separate rather than combined. Striker manus is pretty cool as far as Optimus Prime figures go. It’s on the smaller side like divine shooter but a way more cohesive figure. Super pose-able but I prefer the Optimus at the base of the other figure. Over all I still give it a solid 8/10. Jet fire is huge and that’s cool. The vehicle mode is cool too. I wish the combination was more than just taking the arms and legs off it to give to Optimus to bulk it out a bit more though. Over all I could live without jetfire and god bomber. Probably striker Manus too.thunder Manus is my favorite of the 4 and it’s not close

for a beginner, how difficult is it to do this atleast decently? also is coloring that difficult? how about the assembly? and time?Pretty advanced I would say.

thanks. exactly the answer I'm looking for. I really hate hand-brushing. too time consuming and intricate especially the small details and don't have time for it. Guess I'll just do the assembly and gluing. and maybe in the future just tape and airbrush the whole thing with a monotone color. maybe gold.if youre just looking to build youll be fine as a beginner. if youre looking to paint, and do it the right way, youll need to invest in an air brush set up and learn to air brush. you could try to hand brush it but its probably going to end up looking like crap for a model kit that big with wide surfaces. All of these below were kits I airbrushed

I’m learning that master piece size (9-11inches tall) is where I want to be. Thunder manus is perfect, so is the fans hobby laser prime. Striker manus is a lot of fun but its small and the combo with Buster sky wing bulks it out but not enough. I’m picky though. And I’m picky with my gundams too lol I have decided what I’m getting next though! Master piece sized normal Optimus that armors up into a larger “super robot”.i have both of the Nemesis vers. love them, they're part of my 13 Unicron Counsel, i've gotta finish setting up my room.

see i'm a CHUG guy so MP is always a pass, but i have been eyeing this guy and the Megatron that goes with him, plus the video they did was fantastic
I was looking at that earlier today! That and the fans hobby one are the only megatrons that have gotten my attention
It’s fans hobby’s take on the transformers Armada megatron.which Fanshobby one, i like the stealth bomber one i forget who does that one, but it's MP size so it was too big for my CHUG group, thinking about it i think Maketoys Thunder Erebus and the smaller one were my last TF pickups
