Nice Seiko Andrew, very simple and clean design.

Good pick up on those EcoDrive as well gottagit, that is a great price.
Post pic when you get them.

Injenn, does that Gucci have a floral print on the dial or just a reflection?

For whoever had posted that on this page, I had ordered the same watch a couple weeks back. Haven't even taken it out of the box yet though,

RFX45: I don't think I could pull off an all yellow or rose gold watch. I think the best I could do would be the two-tone. Still, any Daytona is years awayfor me.

Yeah, I am not too fond of gold but rose with a black dial just speaks to me.
As for two-tone, I am just not a fan of it and one of the very few (along with the Big Bang) I would consider is the GMT IIC:

But to play devils advocate...
How can you resist such a beauty?

Damn RFX, posting all those nice pics of hamiltons from the WUS forums lol I've be perusing that place for a lil bit now, they seem to have finally gottena forum just for Hamilton's. That Oris artilier as well was the hammy viewmatic with the black face and brown croc strap you posted last page look awesome.Still trying to get some money together to make another watch purchase.

Yeah, WUS and TZ are few of the forums I visit on a daily basis.
Those stock Hamilton pics at estores does the watch no justice so I had to dig in and grab those that show how nice their watches are.

WUS also just got a brand new IWC forum, mostly because when I arrived there I started many IWC threads and got a good response.
So even though Hamilton is more popular, the IWC forum got created first.

The IWC forum over there is pretty quiet though.

The photo feature for today, a classic Rolex that has passed the test of time.
If you need a versatile and workhorse of a watch, look no further because this is one watch for the ages.
The submariners twin but can go deeper in the depth of the water.

(not my pics by the way)

Honestly, even though I am not the biggest Rolex fan, I respect and see their watches as a great watch, especially the submariner line.
They are a workhorse and they really are built like a tank.
Style is classic and has stood the test of time, with so much history, it is still a great watch and just doesn't seem to get old.
Resale value stays pretty high and you can buy a 10 year old Rolex and it would be running as if it were 2-3 years old.

aBlogToRead is giving away a Dievas watch, sponsored by (our sponsor) www.gnomonwatches.com

dievas-zeta-watch-giveaway.jpg

Folks, something special for a lucky aBlogtoRead.com winner sponsored by GnomonWatches.com. This giveaway is for one brand new, just released Dievas Zeta Automatic diver watch. Isn't she pretty? The winner gets their choice of Zeta Professional watch, from the Phantom, Code Red, or Desert Storm models. The new watch features a black PVD coated stainless steel 44mm wide case and bracelet. You'll get your choice of Zeta Professional watch model that is all black, as opposed to the standard Zeta model that is not PVD coated. The rotating diver's bezel has a scratch resistant ceramic insert, while the dial utilizes tritium gas tubes as lume. Tritium gas tubes are filled with a special gas that glows brightly without the need to be charged by light, and lasts for about 25 years. Inside the watch is a Japanese Miyota (Citizen's movement making group) automatic mechanical movement - that I can attest to having a good rate quality. Learn more about the brand new Dievas Zeta Professional watch line here at GnomonWatches.com.

The watch looks nice, and will make an excellent daily wear with its masculine looks, and anytime viewable dial. To enter to win the watch you just need to follow a few steps. Read each of them before starting so that you know what to do.

  • 4. Sit back and wait. The contest will be over when enough people have entered. Encourage your friends to enter to speed that up. If you win, you'll be contacted for your contact information, so just make sure you enter your correct e-mail address when commenting.
That's it! Once I get 750 valid confirmed comments, the winner will be chosen at random. Also, for legal reasons, all participants must be in the US (or have a place in the US where the watch can be shipped to). Sorry everyone else! If you don't win, you can still buy the watch, and Gnomon Watches does ship internationally.
