More like half of league teams would crumble if their starting quarterback went down

Ok, so, they play a Monday night game, Weeden ties the score, they put Romo back in, he coughs it up.
Coughs it up? Are you being serious or just talking just to talk?
You make it tough to acknowledge and respond to some of the B.S. you say. JJs07 type B.S...
So because Brandon Weeden (who sucks)... came in and did what he does best (which is suck)... that in turn means that Tony Romo is the MVP of the Cowboys?
To say the Cowboys would be where they are today without Murray is debatable.
To say the Cowboys would be where they are today without Romo is not even a conversation.
This year it's the O-line.
You dudes have heard it so much over the season that you believe Ryan Lindley could come in and have the same success.
This year it's the O-line.
I honestly believe anybody who says the O-Line is the MVP of the Cowboys is playing into the whole narrative.

I can agree with this.
So...he didn't come in in the 4th, in a tie game, and fumble near his own goalline? Or get the intentional grounding? He was hurt, but he came back into the game to play and take over, for a QB that had just driven down the field and tied it, yes?
The O-line is the one known variable that's changed for the Cowboys and has proven to get them over the hump. I've defended Romo for years and this is great for me to watch, but when you talk about MVP, you're talking about variables like I mentioned that change from year to year. If we're talking about worth to the team, then of course Romo can be MVP. But like mentioneed, so can a lot of other quarterbacks. Romo's effieciency is a direct correlation to improved offensive line play. That efficiency has led to more wins for the Cowboys. Cause and effect and it starts up front.I honestly believe anybody who says the O-Line is the MVP of the Cowboys is playing into the whole narrative.

We can say this for several teams, can't we?
So do you just want Romo considered a candidate or do you think he should win it?

When he came back into the game with under 2 min left at his own 3 yard line? The fumble and the intentional grounding that were caused by a free rusher both times?
....and the QB that you're saying that he took over for? Brandon ******* Weeden correct?
I just watched you absolved Luck of a loss and any wrongdoing and say he had no chance of winning that game with about 5 minutes to go in the 1st quarter. LOL.
JJs type B.S. you're giving me here chief...
You're trying to pin the loss on Luck, but clear Romo on some "free rusher" mess. Bro, "free rusher" is every snap for Andrew Luck and his oline, so.... laugh.gif
You realize I'm using your logic with Luck, in terms of that Skins game with Romo, right? So we either absolve em both, or pin them both. I'll let you choose.
Candidate. As far as I'm concerned it's between him and Rodgers.
I barely visit this board anymore but you can't name one time in this thread or on this board where Romo's name was brought up in the discussion. Not once.

Works both ways dude.

I don't know how you did it but once again you have managed to make this conversation about Luck
Does anyone here think Tony is outside the top five MVP candidates this year?

Well I mean NT does believe the Hawks win the SB with Lindley as the QB last year
Russell dominated in the playoffs and SB last year
You could throw in some average QBs and Dallas would still be around a 9 or 10 win team. It's that simple

I hope you know this was sarcasm at it's best.

Out of the top 10 QBs in the league, Romo has the best line. You could throw in some average QBs and Dallas would still be around a 9 or 10 win team. Murray would just continue to run the ball. It's that simple.

Russell dominated in the playoffs and SB last year. No way could another QB put on a show like that when it mattered most........
and what in the **** is up with NT wanting players to be considered, not even win it. But just have their name in the convo. Hahahaha, what a ******* joke. A few weeks ago half the board was mad Watt wasn't even mentioned, after that it was Russell and now it's Romo. They don't deserve the award but deserved to at least be mentioned.......well then.
