R.I.P Trayvon

Defense actually doing a decent job. He's making it seem like she's confused as to who was actually speaking and/or yelling for help.

He already had her admit "she assumed."

Yeah, he's asking the right questions but I just feel like she's handling it wel enoughl, it took a lot of back and forth for him to get that out....she wasn't having the flip on the "boy with mature voice vs grown man with a high pitched voice" it looked like

I just feel like the defense is all over the place, like where is he going with this

Simple. Trying to create confusion in the eyes of the jury as it relates to the witness. Showing that her being extremely emotional may have distorted what she thought she was seeing and/or hearing. They pretty much just want her to seem confused so that she admits what she heard/saw could have been something completely different than she reported to 9-1-1, to police and on TV.

She just cleared up

The fact that it was raining so hard all the blood and dna magically washed away

She said it wasn't raining when she opened the window

So its now safe to believe it wasn't raining after TM was dead

So where's all the blood and dna at now

Why don't you just wait for that aspect of the crime to be examined? No one has these answers in here for you.

just got to work and turned the trial back on... didn't catch most of the 1st witness of the day.

saw a lot of debate in the last few pages about "self defense"...

take this scenario for instance.... woman is walking alone, at night, down an empty street... its really dark.... strange man appears behind her and is following her... she speeds up, he speeds up.... now she's scared.... she says stop following me and the guy keeps coming after her....  she then pepper sprays him.... he then shoots her...

self defense?

the thing that keeps being ignored imo is the fact that TM was probably scared too, he felt "threatened" by being aggressively followed by an ADULT male... the act of being "stalked"... "hunted" ... "tracked" seems confrontational to me...

that's what I truly think happened here... Zimmerman wouldn't back off and TM felt threatened so a physical confrontation ensued... GZ got his *** beat and fired a shot because he's that kind of coward

Ignore my post kid if they bother you so much

I'm not expecting a answer

I'm thinking out loud

Who pissed in yo cocoa puffs

Cut it out

What's the point in posting the same rhetorical question over and over though? We get it. You're confused by there being no DNA.

This guy needs to be gone, quick, not in a mental detention either.

The Mayor of NYC agrees with me..

Too bad the mayor of NYC is the mayor of NYC.

So assuming this was an act of self-defense, are you saying people shouldn't be allowed to use firearms in self-defense? Or are you saying you are sure that this wasn't an act of self-defense? If so, link?

But TM had no right to be walking in the rain after dark talking on the phone minding his business

When GZ followed him and ask him why he was in his neighborhood TM should have quickly answered him not run

He was suppose to obey the authority of neighborhood watch got on the ground put his hands behind his head and beg for mercy

defense about to go in on this chick after the "Zimmerman on top...." statement...

what strikes me odd is that Zimmerman was nowhere to be found after the shooting... unless im mistaken, no resident witness so far as said they saw Zimmerman in the area...

all they've seen was TM on the ground dying...

I believe the last witness (the white lady) said in her testimony that she heard a man (Zimmerman) saying "I shot him", with his hands up in the air to police as she looked outside her back window.

In regard to self defense in NYC, there is a law called equal force in regard to self defense.

New York Penal Law section 35.15 effectively ordains that: "A person may... use DEADLY physical force upon another person" "when and to the extent he reasonably believes such to be NECESSARY to defend himself or a third person from what he reasonably believes to be .... a kidnapping, forcible rape, forcible sodomy or ROBBERY; or (c) ... a burglary...."

... and he may use deadly physical force for such purpose when he reasonably believes such to be necessary to:(a) Defend himself or a third person from what he reasonably believes to be the use or imminent use of deadly physical force

My biggest gripe with GZ fairytale
is

When GZ was on the phone with 911 saying "he's looking at me he's coming to check me out"

Why didn't GZ roll down his window while on the phone with dispatch and say "Hey kid what you doing around here I'm on the phone with the cops"

LOL... here these ****** go with that "you didn't tell so and so this......"

she shut that **** down real quick with a, "i told them everything i knew with the questions they asked me....."

Only if the person is brandishing a weapon, which suggests that it can be used as a deadly weapon, you then can use a weapon such as a gun.

False. If you reasonably believe someone is attempting to use deadly force against you, you can lawfully use deadly force against them. Doesn't matter if they are using their fists, a brick, a knife, a gun. If you think your life is in imminent danger, you can shoot to kill.

That's why the defense is using GZ's injuries and smaller physical size to prove self defense. The laws in Florida are more lenient with the whole "stand your ground" thing. In NY you can still use deadly force. Again refer to Goetz. No one even physically assaulted him and he popped off. Imagine if they actually jumped him?
