Moss's "bad" tenure in Oakland is grossly overrated

how so?

im take a wild guess and say this dude Ben Roethlisberger is just playing with his comments?

He was only in Oakland for 2 years, was hurt the 2nd year and put up 1,000 yds w/ Kerry Collins and Marques Tuiasosopo throwing to him in his 1st year there.

Like I said, how "bad" it was is overrated.

The fact that Moss put up those spectacular numbers playing with garbage QBs most of his career is

Imagine if he played with guys like Steve Young and Joe Montana his whole career...

A 40 year old Jerry Rice, on the Oakland Raiders, caught 92 balls for 1,211 yards and 7 TDs.

He caught just as many balls from Rich Gannon, Jeff Garcia, Elvis Grbac, Steve Bono, Jeff Kemp, Rick Mirer, Steve Stenstrom, and Matt Hasselbeck as he did from Joe Montana.

typical NT...make excuses for players like Moss instead of just be true and saying his biggest problem was himself

he could have easily been the best WR ever if he wanted to, he clearly had a rare ability to get by on talent alone

I think he'll be back. In the middle of the season when a contender needs a WR because of injury, Moss will be at the top of the list.

Ok, now all you guys are actually going to learn how to play Madden. Dude's been a cheat for 13 years.

But seriously, he was amazing to watch. Will sorely be missed.

Same here, Don't think he'll stayed retired, He wants to go to a good team, he was probably getting offers from sorry teams.

So he decided to "retire".
