Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

RiP.He never moved in the streets in the right way to me.No disrespect. But if you know that your beefing.Or that cats want your head. Why arent you riding with a crew,or strapped up watching your surroundings like its no tomorrow?

He had so many warnings to either leave the city,or to knock off,or squash the beef he had it with.He was target practice for years down there. How many times did he think he was going to survive being shot at so many different times.

Lowkey that ***** probably wanted to die.

Comments from social media seem to indicate that he been ****** up since one of his mans died. Apparently he been out here slapping *****es, finessing ****** and as seen in the video above he was taunting people who shot at him.

Security footage from the Waffle House where he was killed is out. Nothing graphic happens, but his killer looks like he was fresh from the club and does it bare faced. All these ****** crazy. Value your life.

RIP but crazy how dude like this who seems to want to go is blessed with a rap career and nine lives and little kids get hit with strays and die or get paralyzed before they can even live.

Kevin Gates told him.If your going to beef with someone and dont kill them. Then your dead off top(when he disrespected Meek). He was running around Atlanta disrespecting some Rappers.Supposedly a very well known Atlanta Rapper was behind him getting shot in the head awhile back.I wont say who.But if your from the A then youll know.

Whenever one of these super trap ****** get killed...I'm always inclined to ask you ****** if this is only entertainment, why does **** like this happen all the time?

But now I'm realizing that it's just another part of the entertainment process for the vast majority and my silly *** was crazy for thinking otherwise.

These ****** die...then we talk about how sad it is, how they should have gotten out the streets...blah blah blah...and then move right on to the next ***** with 40 face tats who raps about whipping & flipping bricks out the bando, and pulling up on ops with the draco in traffic. Rinse & repeat.

70% of them Chicago kids who had the world's attention 4-5 years ago are either dead or in jail...and don't nobody give one ****. Dead or in jail...and the whole culture just took all their dances and slang that will live forever while they got sent to a grave in their childhood. We moved right on to the next ****.

Maybe it wasn't popping on a major level...I've never heard or cared to listen to one song of his. In fact I'd only hear about him when he got shot...but it's levels of fame. A simple google search and I can see he his analytics suggest that he had a significant following. If he wasn't popping on some level...we wouldn't be here talking about him right now. I know at least 3 ****** that have died in the past few months alone in my neighborhood that probably got tapes on Spinrilla or LiveMixtapes with barely 500 plays. I'm sure they would have gladly swapped notoriety levels with Yung Mazi.

Live by, die by. Word to the Hot Boys.
Bruh, if you do dirt, the streets gone eventually collect. Whether you wound up in prison, or dead. That's just how it go. Make a pact with the streets, and that's the outcome.

Isn't it all because of negative energy and events surrounding him? Like Katt Stacks, dumb stuff on social media and him getting shot multiple times?

I know he's affiliated with Kevin Gates, but I don't recall one song from him.

I never understand why people say this. People in those communities do try to help. There are programs and people that try to help.

But you have to want to be helped. Just like with drugs. Either their families or the person needs to put forth the effort. You can't force someone to change.

This kid was dead a long time ago. He didn't value his own life, so why should anyone else? He couldn't be saved. Because he had every opportunity to do otherwise. Too many are like that. I stopped feeling sorry for them. Because I realize it's you reap what you sow. He's probably done a lot to other people.

The most important things is getting them while they're kids before it's too late, but too many don't have the proper home environment which makes it harder. It also makes it harder when they try to emulate guys like this, because that's what they're listening too.

I wasn't speaking on their "communities" and I'm not speaking on just this one guy. I'm speaking on the music being made that glorifies this lifestyle and the people who support it and how this **** is only sad when they die...but it's not sad when they talking about killing someone else over an 808.

on bx someone who "knew" him (take it w a grain of salt) said when he was younger his sister got killed and chopped up and put into a garbage bag and he aint been right since

Or better yet,

It's all good, it's all culture until somebody actually dies and gets shot and now we're upset and sad. It's always been weird to me how we openly accept this type of image and music as what we identify with but get upset when we actually get treated exactly the way in which we portray ourselves.

If it's entertainment for the music listeners then keep it that way but don't fake cry and be upset when these ****** actually get licked.
