I think the overall point I was trying to make is that Joe made one hell of a reach to compare anticipation for a 2017 Jeezy album to anticipation for a 2005 Jeezy album. That’s a 12 year span. Whose “moment” lasts that long?
Like I said, it’s a testament to Jeezy’s longevity that in this day and age, where music moves so quickly, Jeezy is still able to announce an album AND still have it talked about. No one is saying he’s the talk of the mainstream, but there’s talk none the less. How it quiet for you if there are people out there vocalizing their anticipation for a project?
