I think some of ya'll let being fans of someone prevent ya'll from being objective. Joe was definitely acting like a weirdo in the episode until Miguel came up . But the Jeezy and Gucci comparison wasn't far off. And Jeezy is definitely cold mainstream wise. Last time he was out there heavy was on the YG my ***** track. Nobody is saying he can't strike hot with this new project or he's washed.

I’m not rocking with that. Not sure where you live, but that Jeezy and Bankroll’s All There was a hit around here. **** still gets played at clubs.

I think the overall point I was trying to make is that Joe made one hell of a reach to compare anticipation for a 2017 Jeezy album to anticipation for a 2005 Jeezy album. That’s a 12 year span. Whose “moment” lasts that long?

Like I said, it’s a testament to Jeezy’s longevity that in this day and age, where music moves so quickly, Jeezy is still able to announce an album AND still have it talked about. No one is saying he’s the talk of the mainstream, but there’s talk none the less. How it quiet for you if there are people out there vocalizing their anticipation for a project?

I'm not arguing his popularity in the south. I'm specifically talking about the mainstream. I don't think it's a stretch to say my ***** with YG was the last song he had that was EVERYWHERE.

Homie’s got classics and has been pretty consistent since his mixtape days. I’m not rolling with the idea that it’s quiet for Jeezy. Joe hopped out the window with that one imo.

That Jeezy and Jay song was not that big. It got spins because of JAY Z, Jeezy is cold out here. Jeezy biggest song was My N and he was a feature. All There was more regional than anything else.
