I don't have time to listen. But why did they want him out of there? Did he piss the wrong person off? Im starting to think he did want more $. But since he has a big enough platform/voice now since his popularity grew. I wouldnt be surprised if Complex asked him to not publicize the real reason why he left or was kicked off of the show. Complex is a big company. So i can see it getting political so Complex wont look bad.

An AK dominated show will bomb quick. Hes a one trick pony. Who wants to hear him talk about Uzi,Pump,Yahty,and xxxxxxxxxwhateverhisnameis like there Hip Hop legends everyday. Im sure I'm not the only 1 not watching EDS now since Joe is gone. It has a good balance to it with Joe and Ak and Nad. Whoo kid on the show wasnt as good. To keep it 100. Its was probably Joes demeanor/attitude that got him kicked it. You cant really control him.

Because Joe is a lil reckless, and AK said he got in the way of some sponsor deals, and the fact that Joe wasn't cool with what they were offering him. And Complex already looks bad. This isn't the first time they had a good thing and messed it up.

EDS can survive without Joe, they just have to move past the schtick of having somebody on the other side of the table to yell at Ak.

Ak would be an idiot if he doesnt take this show to VICE/Revolt with Joe. And they need to announce something within a month before people start dropping the content they’ve been preparing for the new year and now we’re already on to some new ****.
Someone brought up a great point about the content restrictions. It would be lit if this was on @ like 11 or 12 every night (so they could cuss and ****) on like BET/Adult Swim/MTV/etc.

But this is a good opportunity for them to rebrand themselves. They kinda have to start all over again anyway so why not try to shove the social media hip hop to the side and discuss hip hop for real with a new old head

He has the right personality for doing shows/podcasts. He just happened to be a Rapper first. Which got him in the door to be able to do what hes doing now. He knows alot about music like some of us on here do. But Joe's talent is knowing how to talk and articulate his opinions in a good way that attracts alot of viewers. What's crazy about it. This is just him basically freestyling as being a host. If he takes it more serious without getting to emotional. Then he could easily be on a different level than most of the cats doing it today. But i dont think he would wanna be that guy on BBC in his 50,s. Hes to unfiltered,but also entertaining.

What's ******ed is not trying to do business and not understanding your influence. Your giving these brands free promo. They acknowledge your influence then you should sit down do some business dummy. That's simple. Dapper Dan was using Gucci logo for years, making different type of clothes for rappers and athletes. Gucci started copying his designs, then they sat down did business together.
On top of that I never that SHOULD give them a check. I said hope cuz it's promo and Gucci knows the impact of that song.

Don't think people want to see a new old head. I mean Whoo Kid is older than Budden and look at the response he getting. They would have to rebrand completely almost. And also, it took months for Joe and Ak to gain the chemistry. I'm not sitting through that again.

Real question. Who really wants to watch EDS without Joe? It would have to be someone thats a well known Rapper/Producer thats somewhat edgy and unfiltered when discussing Hip Hop/Rap. I dont see anybody wanting to do it without damaging relationships because of what there talking about on a daily basis.

That episode with Whoo kid was so trash that I'm not going to be watching it for now. I might in the future if they get someone thats aggressive thats not scared to talk about certain people. Its not going to be the same without Joe. I defense dont want to see AK talking about how great all the lil,s are. There going to get someone young like AK in the future. Then its going to be Everyday Mumble Rap Struggle. Im good on that. I'll just tune in to Joe's podcast from here on out.

Itd be cool to hear actual discussions but we all know the average fan is about hot takes and craziness. Everyone's crying about Joe and dude came prepared maybe once every two weeks and didn't listen to 90% of the music he talked about on the show.
In this thread we had a huge argument about Big Sean and integrity and Joe made that statement about an album he didn't even listen to

Whoo Kid was "trash" tho. Dude was laughin' at everything Ak was sayin' like he was Redd Foxx. If not another old head somebody with a well of knowledge of how the industry works and an actual personality.
I do. I like the concept of the show, it's a good way to get some hip hop news and entertainment. Joe had his moments where he "made" the show but he also had moments where his antics and attitude ruined it.
