and it's so many ways to get money is BS. Because literally everyone is a rapper. So it dilutes everything. Show money and your longevity. The album has no value and neither does your record deal. Why do I have to give you $5,000 for a show when I can get this guy for $2. Why should I give you a good record deal, let me give you a 360.

And everyone has been saying for years that Hollywood money was better, and that's more sustainable. Where is the next Will Smith? Ice T? Ice Cube?

That's essentially your retirement. Your song gets played on the radio or streamed, part of that is yours. Your song gets played in a movie, that's yours.

You might not make $5 million a year, but you can make $50-$100,000, which is enough to support yourself.

DMX also isn't the best example, dude had 10+ kids and has had numerous legal problems which brings up droughts and lawyer fees.

The lifespan of entertainers is just like athletes. You got dudes like snoop and shaq who gone forever make money off their likeness. Same with Ice Cube or Jay-Z. Everyone not them though.

If you peak for 3-5 years in your 20s or 30s. You still have plentyyyyyy years of living to do. The difference is, you not getting hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Football players literally get paid only 20 weeks out the year. That’s from
September to January, if they make the playoffs. The average players is out the league by 27. You ain’t even in the prime of your life yet. That money doesn’t last for everyone

All this is true. But you see, the money was in the big budget videos, media, mags etc. That was where the rented clothes, whips, houses, models, jewelry etc. came in with the imagery. Shoot, by the time it got to the MTV Cribs/How I’m living era....it was ridiculous and obviously fake as hell looking back.

Do you have to front more..... Yes because of the need for fans to view the "lifestyle", but it's also easier than ever to front on IG. i could spend about a rack or two today & make it look like i'm platinum on IG.

I think one reason athletes get caught out there is they feel the need to invest.

Really when you're making $100-200 mil there's no need. You can do low risk investments.

So they get hit with the jux by a guy in a suit who speaks proper. They see sucker when they see you, but you see square when you see them. And they're talking about stuff you have no clue about. You always hear about that, look at Adrian Peterson.

It’s soooooo easy to see who’s fake stunting on their parents dime or rich homeboy/homegirls chips.

In south Florida, there are so many luxury car thefts. Kids and young adults literally go to sunny isles or wealthy areas, steal and joyride for weeks, sometimes months and just ditch the car. Scamming+stealing+renting got a lot of these peoples minds all screwed up. I sit back and laugh
