Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

Fetti was fire but I’ve heard Gibbs talk more about what he didn’t/doesn’t like about Spitta more than I’ve heard Spitta talk down on the tape.

Gibbs is an amazing musician but he in the Meek category of your manager should run your socials lol

The rapid pace at which Spitta drops music he’s not gonna promote anything past the release, the project w/ JD was the most I’ve seen him promote a project. He has such a loyal fanbase his streams always gonna be solid.

Gibbs should know this being that’s suppose to be his potna, but yet he can’t help hisself to run to social media when he all gotta do is call that man, real sucka ****.

If he was to pursue this “beef” w/Spitta,he’d get done worst than when he was in Buffalo…City love that boy like a god

Spitta shoot a lot of videos though. That project he did with Worthy they shot a couple vids for that. Spitta always shot vids for his collabs with Larry June. Maybe he saw some sucka behavior from Gibbs making the project I don't know but it's definitely a reason he ain't at least do a video.

It's agreed that Slow Motion is Juve's biggest song, right? It ain't my favorite, but man if that **** was legitimately everywhere.

Ain't close to Back that *** Up or Ha
Feels to me like Slow Motion got immediate mainstream/pop culture play.

Back That *** Up eventually got acceptable on a "pop" level but it was a process to get there.

Ha was my intro to Juve. It's hood famous no doubt. It doesn't touch the heights of Back That *** Up or Slow Motion though.

Juvie was already established at that point for making them type of hits. I think the passing of Soulja Slim had a lot to do with that song being a hit right out the box. Song was dope asf alone, but that gave it a different feel.
