It's agreed that Slow Motion is Juve's biggest song, right? It ain't my favorite, but man if that **** was legitimately everywhere.

If I remember right, 400 Degreez has been out for a lil minute before Back That *** Up dropped as a single. I think Follow Me Now was the first single followed by Ha and then BTAU. Tha G-Code released not too long after it.

400 Degreez was out a whole 8 months before that. CMR ain't really take off yet. That record jump started the whole label. BTAU dropped in June 99 soon as the summer hit. It's like they planned it cuz it was summer time, I don't know if the song and video would had the same effect if dropped winter/spring.

I would love to see how big the albums sales jumped that summer.

The transition from everybody rocking with No Limit to everybody rocking with Cash Money in real time was insane. It happened so fast, like at the snap of a finger people were laughing and snickering if you were listening to any new No Limit stuff after 99, and especially after 2000 :lol

Pastor Troy pretty much took No Limit out in ATL. They came to Birthday Bash and got no love, boo’d some actually. At that same time we were becoming more hip to the NO rap scene and culture.

Man, that was a monumental ATL moment at that Birthday Bash with Troy performing No Mo Play and having damn near the entire Dungeon Family and anybody that was hot from da A at the time standing with him.

I think P adding too many new members in 98-99 and not paying the top acts like Mystikal, Fiend, BBTP, etc led to the downfall. After that 504 album you could tell the label was in disarray. Well probably just before that with the way Mystikal and BBTP left.

Watching that video reminded me that artists used to actually record a clean version of their songs with different lyrics

Random but I remember being young and my dad always pointing out that there isn’t any flight thats 3 days :rollin
