I don't see it as a reach for attention beyond choosing that part for the IG post because they clearly seem to really not **** with Joe, as overblown as their issue might be in my opinion.

I don't think it matters what it's for. Joe been talking **** well after the BET awards, they can respond.

They can respond, they could do it by using social media (like they do most of the time), they could respond in an interview, they could respond in a vlog... instead they do it on record..... they then use that record for a promo video, that's suppose to be promoting the album. An album that's gonna be consumed by a majority of people who don't listen or care about Joe Budden.

So outside of the intention of Joe mentioning them & the project on ES or his podcast.... i'm eager to see someone explain what motive was behind this other than attention .

I’ve gotta commend Joe on crossing over and having an arguably bigger voice as a media talking head than as a rapper.

Son used the perceived irrelevance against everyone and made it so that his voice on ES has some significance. The degree of significance is debatable, but significance none the less.

Throughout the year, we’ve heard “who tf is Joe Budden to have an opinion on _____”.

I think a lot of his opinions are bull ****, but I can’t knock the hustle. Dude made it work for himself.

That quavo line is what's wrong with current rap. Super generic non-creative way to diss somebody.. Lol take that trash *** complication somewhere else. Here now gone tommorow hopefully. Trash label with the worse rappers ever.

And yes Jeezy is cold, along with TI, Em, and whatever artist holding it down from the mid 00's on. Jay is the only artist making moves from that era period.

Mase came back with better bars than 90% of anything current and that's truly what's sad.

Iv'e seen several other rappers do slight small things like this & they are called corny or attention seekers. I personally don't feel to deep about it, who doesn't want free promotion. but some people don't share that sentiment when it comes to others doing things like this.

I don’t know if I would say Jay is cold but his album didn’t sell or stream huge numbers.

Homie’s got classics and has been pretty consistent since his mixtape days. I’m not rolling with the idea that it’s quiet for Jeezy. Joe hopped out the window with that one imo.

And I’m not huge Jeezy fan either. I just peep that the assessment seems wild off.

3 good songs in 4 years is consistent? And my ***** wasn’t even his track. How is it not “quiet” for him? He had some good features here and there like on Kodak album, that might be his best verse since TOD2 days, but nothing major. He got a core fanbase that will always buy his music because they probably had a lot of cherished moments to a few songs but outside of that nobody is checking for this dude and rightfully so. He basically in the same position as 50. Only he don’t got a tv show to keep him buzzing.

By nobody you mean teenagers correct? because he jus dropped a year ago & had a #1 album doing 90K first week. so either
A) it was far more than his core base
B) his core base is bigger than what a lot of the "relevant" rappers today amass in total.

what "rants" has he went on... they discussed that ****in motorsport record at Nauseam, and the only thing i heard him say about migos at all was that takeoff had the best verse & that the opening verse was trash. He's on a show who's entire purpose is to discuss rap.

My *****.....it wasn’t literally a throw away line in a song that sounds like it’s a typical Club record . It’s not that deep.
