Your posts are making me consider signing up for my third full! Race day is just such a RUSH!
Man, I remember at around mile22 of my first, I thought I was going to hit "wall". However, as I approached the crowd, they cheered me on. I then repeatedly pounded my left chest to acknowledge them, and they got even louder! MAN! After that point, I felt RECHARGED and started to run like I was possessed! In the final stretch to finish line, I gave it my all in a dead sprint! It was such an AMAZING experience!
My newbie mistake that race was chugging water rather than compressing the cup and sipping on the run... [emoji]128517[/emoji]
