Was expecting 6-8 MAX for any of these guys... yikes.
This.
And the Donte Stallworth case has no relevance to the bounty scandal so I don't know why it was even brought up.
how is it inconsistent if it's different "offenses"? unintended manslaughter v rewarding players for intentionally injuring other players. again...with today's news about seau...the bounty gate stuff looks even worse.Originally Posted by yungchris504

It is very unfortunate what has happened to Mr.Seau but killing someone is still killing someone rather if its a mistake or not. Why would the penalties be equal? In my opinion Goodell does not care about player safety or well being all he cares about is the $$$.Originally Posted by DeadsetAce

I have no beef with the amount of time those players were given again my comment is about Goodell and him only so if you don't like it fine but it is my own opinion not yours.

In addition, the NFL said that Hargrove told at least one player on another team that formerMinnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was a target of the Saints' bounty pool in the 2009 NFC Championship Game and that Hargrove obstructed the league's investigation in 2010 when he wasn't truthful with investigators."
Wonder if Shockey's going to follow through & sue Sapp forthe dough he has hidden awayhis Jordans.
Not gonna defend dude because the details are fuzzy but I think Stallworth was just a little over the limit and he hit dude running across the freeway or something.Originally Posted by gangsta207therevolution
If you want to remember the details of the Donte Stallworth issue.
The guy ran in front of Donte's car Donte wasn't extremely drunk, and technically didn't violate traffic laws. Its just the fact that he had alcohol in his system.

The Saints dont want to man up to the fact that they all but ended Warner, and Farve's careers.
No flags. That Warner hit was legal. He just didn't see it. Even Warner doesn't have a problem with that.
