Lew Bush didn't get in on the mix?

No wonder he doesn't own the grill in there anymore. His food was the bomb. Esp when he hooked me up when I used to go there after class.

He's opening up his own place. Called Sweet Lew's BBQ down in Euclid next to Imperial Fish Market on Feb 1st.

Best price in SD is at Sports Fever (Fashion, Plaza, UTC, NCF) for $270. (yeah, pricey)

Sports Fantasy (Horton) and Touchdown (Chula) want $290.

Try www.jersey-joe.com or Eastbay/Footlocker when they have their sales is the cheapest.

^if the chargers lose in the playoffs, guaranteed the jerseys will go on sale. they're having most authentics at half off (at jersey-joe that is) cept forremaining playoff teams.

also i think they had 140 LT charger jerseys (the old style) at bcsports.com or something but not anymore, i heard about it at nextleveltalk.com.

Sports Fever gives 10% military discount.

Rivers jerseys are 25% off due to overstocking.

George, you gonna buy something this time?

Willie I think I saw you in Sports Fever at Plaza a couple weekends ago.

I had just returned an extra pair of playoff VIIIs at Finishline and went in to look for the Reebok Conflict hoodies. I'm an idiot for not coppin'when they were readily available.

If anyone needs Chargers Authentics let me know. I dont know how my boy did it, but he got me LT sz48, Merriman sz50 and sz52, and a Cro sz48 all for 500. Ican let him know if anyone is interested. Oh and they're the new jerseys not the old ones. Im still looking for that Manumaleuna in a 48 by the way ifanyone has hookups!!!

Are the "Retail" Authentics or customized blanks?

I'm thinking the latter as there are no "real" retail Cromarties, they are all customized blanks.

I feel you on that one. I saw Portis wearin the Conflict hoody durin a game one week and got all excited. They had FSR on nflshop.com but my girlfriendtold me that it looked like trash and I shouldnt get it. The next day I had a change of heart and said I dont care what she thinks, im getting it but by thattime my size was already gone. What a shame... that Charger conflict hoody woulda been smooth.

Willie, you know I am just in there to look at you. All you do is download porn on your laptop near the register anyway.

I honestly dont know. But the ones I have and have seen from him look fine. They might be blanks customized I guess, but everything is stitched, downto the reebok symbol. Does that mean anything? Are you sure they dont make Cro authentics? I saw a guy wearing one downtown but I guess he could be in the sameboat as me if what you're saying is true. Also I asked him for a Manumaleuna and he said he cant get those because they dont make them for the public. Ohwell, im confused now. Does that mean I got ripped off?

Nah I don't think you got ripped off, but compare the jersey to one at Sports Fever or the Chargers store.

A lot of the Reebok.com/NFL.com jerseys are customized blanks.

The Charger jersey uses a proprietary lettering and numbering font so most of the time even customized blank jerseys are cool. Jerseys like the Colts andRaiders with sold uniform numbers often turn out wack (fat numbers, wrong number font), even straight from Reebok.com.

Just depends on which customizer did the jerseys for Reebok. I hear the Eastbay customizer is the best in the biz.

Next level talk is a good source of info for this.

My LT Navy "Retail" authentic I bought from Sports Fever is pretty badly made, but that's Reebok's fault not Sports Fever. I went throughall the 48 and 50 Navy LTs at the Plaza Bonita store and they all had collar and chest emblem alignment issues. Crappy if you ask me, especially if you arespending $250+

So many fakes out there, its insane.

One thing you have to get right is the powder blue color on the numbers. It can't be too light. There should be 3 stitches of each color on the numberswhen you turn the jersey inside-out. Bolt on the shoulder needs to be perfect. The name plate lettering shouldn't be too blocky. And one thing I just foundout is the tag where it tells you the size. Fake ones are slightly lighter in that navy blue color.

I myself still haven't got this years authentic. I'll probably get an LT one before I head to Ariziona for Superbowl weekend (regardless of what teamgoes), but for now im good with rockin my replica Weddle since August.

speaking of authentics...i bought both navy (last year's and this year's) jerseys from eastbay and a powder blue from reebok; all were done via"customized" option. i was stoked when i got last year's jersey cause i came to realize that the digits sewn on were the procut digits. there's a big difference in the way procuts are made compared to authentics. i've noticed it too on my nike procut bball jerseys. the difference isin the way the fabric for the numbers are layed out.

here's last year's jersey (from eastbay) w/ procut digits and lay out!!! looks normal right???...

this is the pic of the number on the sleeve. if you notice on a lot of the authentics had tall narrow numbers on the sleeve that kind of resemble the digitson the chest and back. the procut digits are wide and kinda looked "smushed" and are a lot larger than the ones you see on store racks.
298998268.jpg

here's the procut lay out of how the digits are stitched:
298998265.jpg
298998278.jpg

you can see that the layers are reversed!!! instead of yellow on the bottom, navy on top of that and white on top of navy, it's white on bottom follow bynavy and then yellow being the top fabric layer; and that's done on all the digits on the jersey

here's a pic of this year's jersey also bought from eastbay.
298998276.jpg

the digits are layed out "normal."
298998274.jpg

also, if you notice, the digits on the shoulders are a lot smaller than the ones on the procuts. i was bummed when i got this jersey...especially after i hadhigh expectations from last year.

and last but not least, here's last year's powder blue from reebok custom. this is a mix of both procut and "normal" authentic digits. asyou can see on the sleeve, they used the wider numbers. but like ben (supra/M5) stated above, the standard block digits come in the incorrect sizes (attimes). the digits on the chest and on the back are really thin compared to the "real deal!!!" even the swingman powder blues digits looked morereal than this authentic...and hell yes i'm being picky cause these things aren't cheap!!!
298998271.jpg

GO BOLTS!!! i hope they beat the living hell out of the new england scuds...i mean patriots...haha

but i was lucky enough to get all of them w/ a discount!!! both navys for 20% or 30% off (can't remember) and i think 10% off the powder blue. fakes dosuck and you have to be very careful now and days. it hurts to see "bobo" jerseys...yeah authentics and swingmans are expensive, but at leastthey're real.

True.

My LT powder blue custom authentic that I bought in 06 from Reebok.com utilized the bigger numbers on the sleeves rather than the smaller numbers normallyfound on the authentics sold at stores. I was comparing it to my 02 away Seau authentic, and it had the smaller numbers on the sleeves.

Still wish I kept my away Adidas LT rookie jersey instead of giving it to my uncle who just sent it away to the Phillipines. SMH at me.

Another thing I noticed in regards to fakes in these new jerseys, outside the outrageous horrible bolt, the fake authentics have a rounder neck right above theNFL shield. The real authentics come down like a v shape and square off.

I also remember the Yolk booth this past Comic-con was selling fake Chargers authentics. Sad.
