Lakers vs. Celtics rivalry renewed again this year in the Finals? Who knows.

I admit Pau will make the Lakers good.

However, you have to be GREAT to beat the Spurs in a 7 game series.

We'll see though, the west is stacked and the Spurs may be taken out earlier than the WCF this season.

i know this was awhile back and shaq's not as fluid as before, but there's always "motivation." yeah i remember the following play (bynumspinning away on shaq and a dunk), but the fact that bynum fell into the fetal position after that moment (pictured above) begging for a foul...priceless

The playoffs is where games are slowed down to more of a half court set type style of play, especially when playing the Pistons or Spurs.

The Suns had a liability in their interior defense, Amare was subpar when it came to guarding bigs. There are a whole bunch of really good big men in theWest.

Makes sense to me.

I think if Shaq can contribute 30-35 minutes he will be a good addition to the team.

The Suns can still run and gun without Shaq, but now they can play a more traditional half court set with confidence with him in there. Shaq is one of thebest post passers of all time, he doesn't have to score to have an effect on the game. I think we'll see Amare foul out of games less, and be therewhen it counts in the end of playoff games.
