I was about to say that it comes in sedan form as well but I am curious though, can a G35 sedan be had for $10k with less than 100k miles?

I just finished my Upper Radiator Hose replacement and bled my own cooling system.  I spent $35.00.

Was just thinking the same thing.

QFT. Oil changes, MAF Sensor, Camshaft sensor could all be done at home for a fraction of the cost.

I see a few in my area that meet that criteria surprisingly.

While we're discussing used BMs, I've actually been hearing good things about used 745s made after 2003.

The BMW boards have a lot of satisfied owners saying that if you get one that has been properly serviced you shouldn't have many major problems with them.

The 745 is one of my favorite car models ever, I can see myself pulling out a pristine 2005 745Li 20 years from now, like the old heads pull out ols school Caddies today....if the dozens of computer assisted functions still work.

1.  While I have respect for mechanics (my dad is one, check the irony) I don't want to be one.  I'm not so inclined.  And even if I subtract oil changes, maf sensor, and camshaft sensor, I still have hella charges.  And again, that's not the complete list.
laugh.gif

2. For those saying I shouldn't have went to the dealership, 90% of the repairs weren't done at the dealership.  Where you see "Kelly BMW" in my list, that's the dealership.  Evans Automotive is a repair shop that specializes in europeans (they fixed lambos, ferraris also).  They were on average, 30% cheaper than the dealer.

3. The hard *#% lesson I learned?  Don't buy used Germans.  I shoulda copped the Acura CL-S I was looking at. It would have saved me a lot of embarassment, cheese and time.

all ya talkin bout DIY mess..da highlighted portion of that i enlarged is a good ol' fashion ****** job....yea, son had to plunk down a 1300+ on a car he only had for 2 years after he copped it.

STAY AWAY from used luxury cars out of warranty, unless u A. know a hood mechanic you can TRUST in da BX that can deal with imports and pay a fraction of da price.

Naw we see that, it's the little stuff like 80 dollar oil/filter changes and gazillion diagnostics charges that jump out. On a sidenote though, no joke, da new chargers is dope inside and out. My homie got one, i got an 05 whip and it makes my joint feel like it's so far behind in technology.

I was about to say that it comes in sedan form as well but I am curious though, can a G35 sedan be had for $10k with less than 100k miles?
car noob here and since we're on the topic of Infiniti, how reliable is a G35/G37 after 100k?
I was thinking of copping one w/ high mileage for cheap but if it's going to bring all these problems like bmw's then i rather pass

i copped a 2000 328i recently and i have no regrets. if its been properly maintained then you have nothing to worry about as long as you maintain it properly.

check out

they will answer any questions you have. literally.

Pops picked up a 99 740i at the auction for 5k 140xxx miles. So far the only thing it needed changing was the timing chain and flush the engine (oil sludge damn there killed the engine).

2k in repairs and changed some hoses. Car runs like
