Females are good, better than New York IMO. More friendly too. But as far as the club scene, everything closes at like 2 or 3, which sucks. Otherwise, good city, you got beaches, laser tag, the zoo, in n out, nice parks. Young people, and you're only 30 mins away from Mexico so bring your passport.

natrix, I'm from the Bay/Sac and live out here in SD now. You're gonna have a great time (however long you stay). What is it you're trying to do while you're out here? Maybe I can give you a few suggestions.. Glad your drive wasn't too long - I absolutely HATE that drive down the I-5 and avoid it at all costs.
