Got back from the renegade run to Northstar 1/2 hour ago. Traffic was boggin' on the way back, but it was a fun day. Not much powder but some good riding nonetheless, esp. on the backside
I traded in my last day pass for the Sierra/Northstar double whammy so I will bounce back up very soon.

Which way exactly do i take to find it?
Mostly day trips for me as well, since they fit real snugly into my schedule. At the beginning of the season I stayed a few nights in a KingsBeach cabin, 20 minutes from Northstar. I don't know much about the nightlife except if that's the main reason you're going to Tahoe, just stay onthe South shore near the casinos, or head to Reno which isn't too far from the North shore resorts. I only go to ride
