SO I GOT BANNED FOR NOT TIPPING LOL

Watch out. He reports people for that kind of language.

 He sure does

You get embarrassingly kicked out of an establishment for some BS like that, after you spent money in there and your street code won't let you report them? You are such a G.

Idiot.
Who said anything about street codes ...u don't have to b street to not be a dweeb, dweeb

that's not really the bartenders fault, now is it?

that's like blaming the guy behind the counter at a movie theater because the snacks cost more than they do at the super market...

Dawg his waitress told him to carry the drinks he ordered over to his table. That's her job. That's what she's getting paid/tipped for. He's paying a premium on the drinks to be served by her, not the other way around. The price of the drinks is not what's up for discussion, it's the service. Which was nonexistent. Pretty sure he was saying if he wanted to serve all of his coworkers drinks instead of sitting down and celebrating with them he would've bought a bottle from the liquor store across the street for a fraction of the price.

This thread, man.

Do yall tip dealers at casinos when you play the tables?
Only when I leave with 3x I made @ blackjack or poker and that's just my nice superstitious side coming out cuz I'm happy I won so much.

The tip usually isn't a lot either.

I'm with the OP. No one owes waiters anything. Don't see why one should be concerned about how little the waiter gets paid when these waiters don't give a damn about you or your financial status. Many people work at establishments where they barely or cant even make ends meet. The last thing a hard working man who decides to take his family out for dinner should be worried about is whether or not he has that 20% to cover the waiter's "bring your food" fees. I wouldn't go as far as saying tipping should be banned but the way the system is set up now is just a loophole for owners/managers to save on paying employees by crying oh its the only way we can keep food prices down for customers. How about we see that accounting data before we buy that crap?

Hard working man needs to go grocery shopping, set his oen table, serve his own food and wash his own dishes instead of trying to slide off with letting someone else do it for them for free. Broke *** ******. Not tipping is broke boy excuse #1. Knowing dam well its about YOU needing that extra $10 until your next check and not some type of priciple concerning the concept of tipping. Get ur paper up or eat them ramens in your cupboard clown.

LOL @ You just expose yourself more and more as the days go on.

You should be tipping regardless, not just when you are up 3x.

You sound as bad as those, "Unless I get 5* service, I won't tip" dudes.

But it's not for free.......they get paid to do it.........with a paycheck.........that they are paid with..........for the work they do.......to get paid......and why are you so mad?

No truer words have ever be spoken by you :pimp:

Dudes are better off owning up to how ****in cheap they are....instead of making excuses for it....making a big deal over 2-15$ at most....can't remember the last time I went out and had to tip more than 15$ and that's for a decent meal at a decent spot for the wife and I.

When they are hired, TIPS is part of the incentive, that's why they are ok with Min Wage because they make up for it in tips....tips which often times incentivizes the service they provide....I'm assuming you dudes don't tip the delivery man either?

If you barely tip as it is, then you don't belong at restaurants, unless they gave you terrible service where you have to complain to a manger you should tip its etiquette, I usually tip more than required but if they give me bad or average service I tip very little but I always tip.

Yes pretty much, if service is terrible, I will not tip.

As long as the food comes in time, my order is taken properly, water is served I have no problems with the tipping system.

yall are foolish. you go to restaurants in other countries they frown upon tipping because their service standards are a lot higher.

we need to be more like them and set the standards higher. automatic tips do nothing but lower the standards and have everyone complaining about tipping or not receiving a tip.

Tips should be earned, not given.

edit- nevermind I see he posted his story up there. Still has nothing to do with the price of drinks being overpriced inside a bar.
he didn't say any of that and neither did I.

I think you failed to comprehend what I typed.

I only addressed teh issue about the overcharge for drinks. Bartender's will charge what their bosses will ask them to charge, the bartender has very little control over that, he doesn't set the price. Same as a movie theater with overpriced snacks. It's not really up to the guy behind the counter to set those prices, right?

Im not talking about the service. I don't care enough to entertain that part of the argument.

Because even if you had to walk behind the counter to grab the beer or mix the drink, you'd still pay more for the drink than you would going to your local liquor store...

Tips are a courtesy though. Not a guarantee. Cant be mad when they don't get one.

Dudes really brainwashed, tipping is a scam.... Some of you are pathetic ... Making up these sob stories for waiters smh and this coming from a server...also Lmaooo at being cheap if you don't tip

And no I don't tip the deliveryman. **** out of here with that nonsense. Also, he makes more than minimum wage so kills that argument. USPS postman is a good Government job with benefits, who is also forbidden to take tips by the way, but what do people look like giving him a tip? He can't even go anything to "hook you up" like tipping a bartender or waiter thinking they'd get you a free dessert or extra alcohol for it. Kats are just indoctrinated to tip everybody just because.

Exactly, problem is, many people who work in service industries that allow tipping think that they're entitled to it just for doing their job. I have 0 problems with tipping for great service, but I'm not going to tip because it's what's expected of me just because it's allowed.
