I'm going to geek out when the Red Viper first appears. I hope the actor playing him is cool. The internet was complaining that he should've looked more like a person from the Middle East but GRRM was saying the casting was spot on. I care more about them casting someone really hot for Arianne Martell.

Yeah he's a badass and his nickname is awesome. Plus the fact that no one besides him and The Hound would ever fight The Mountain one on one. That fight scene should be epic onscreen.

That theory's a reach. There's no one alive to even reveal it except for maybe if pycelle or varys discovered info about it. They could've showed it another way if he fell into fire at Blackwater.

To be honest, I don't think we'll ever get that particular answer.
I think getting Jon's real father will be sufficent enough
He has a lot to wrap up with these next 2 books, and that is one of the minuscule non important aspects...
Now if the dunk and egg stories are a preview to anything that will definitely help with not having tyrion be part Targ

Ook so I started re-reading (listening on audio book) Book 1.
Every theory, and problem has all come from book 1.
(I'm not at the tower of joy yet)
From what Lyanna made Ned promise. it may not of been of Jon Snow (the Lyanna/Rhaegar theory), It may of just been how she loved Rhaegar and not Robert.
How long Lyanna was locked up hasnt been talked about. but enough time for her to fall in love with Rhaegar and have a baby, when she was betrothed to Robert doesn't make sense to me. Especially if we go with Starks being extremely Loyal..
Brandon On the other hand we learn to be a bit like Robert.
also That would make Jon the true heir of winterfell if that was Brandons child... and thats why ned kept him so close..
I say all this to say Im just leaning away from the Lyanna Rhaegar theory. (although it does sound good and easy to point at.) but I think its more difficult than that.
