This Morbius gig is a one-off for Leto?

Jamie as Spawn? Interesting, if he can channel some of that Baby Driver character, it'd work.

A Very ‘Spidey’ Comic-Con For Sony

Sony’s Venom and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be swinging into Hall H in a few weeks with a session on Friday, July 20 at 6:15PM.

Extensive footage for both movies was recently shown at CinemaCon back in April. Venom opens on Oct. 5 and Spider-Verse on Dec. 14.

Even though Marvel Studios’ film side is skipping Hall H this year, it would come as no surprise should Spider-Man star Tom Holland make a surprise appearance in San Diego during the Sony panel. Holland recently served as an Avengers: Infinity War panelist at the ACE Comic-Con in Seattle last weekend which was timed to his title reveal on Instagram for the next Marvel/Sony sequel, Spider-Man: Far From Home due out a year from now on July 5, 2019.

San Diego Comic-Con runs from July 19-22.

Hollywood’s First Plus-Size Superhero? Sony Sets Maria Melnik To Script Pic On Valiant Comics’ ‘Faith’

Women have already become staples of the superhero movie game, but now the genre will have its first plus-size female heroine. Sony Pictures is moving forward with a live action adaptation of the Valiant Comics superhero story Faith, and the studio has hired American Gods scribe Maria Melnik to write the film.

The hero is Faith Herbert, a jubilant, comics-and-science-fiction loving geek who also happens to have telekinetic superpowers. Toby Jaffe and Neal Moritz will produce via their Original Film banner with Dan Mintz of DMG Entertainment.

Love Viliant Comics. Hopefully this opens the door for the other characters...

I watched that Yakuza movie starring Leto on Netflix.

Cool concept...But I was expecting more.
