got tickets for the 17th at 7:30.

only part that sucks is i have to go through one of the worst areas of "metro atlanta" to get to the theater near my brother to watch it.

contemplating on taking the whole day off or just trying to make it down there in time to get in line and get a good seat.

Good luck to those with no reserved seating on the 17th/18th, people used to get hyped over the first Marvel movies, Transformers, Twilight, etc. (my first job was as a projectionist at a theater, funny stories) I can only imagine what it'll be like for TFA :wow:

Yeah, that's kinda making me think twice about my IMAX ticket for the 18th.  I'm just glad the 17th is reserved seating for me.

I remember arriving about an hour early for the prequels and that was nuts.  TFA is going to be 100x worse.

That's why I only do reserved seating for big movies. The best theater around here has reserved seating, so I'm good.

Movies like this, reserved seating is mandatory. Theaters are gonna be a zoo when this joint drops :smh:

I tried getting tickets to the reserved seating theater, but the sites were crashing. Oh well. You think 5 hours is sufficient?

This should be taken with a grain of salt but when Dark Knight came out (with all the hype because Heath was Joker) there was a dude in line when I got to work in for a midshift (noon). And it was for a midnight showing on a Thursday. Granted, I lived in a fairly small town with only two theaters showing it, but still [emoji]128517[/emoji] SW fans seem to be more dedicated [emoji]128527[/emoji]

i want go a few weeks after the opening, when the hype has died down a bit

yall feels me?

You don't really camp out for Batman movies.

Trek, Wars, Hobbit/Rings, Potter, etc. those movies get the let me sleep in line weeks in advance treatment.

I don't think BvS is gonna get a lot of ppl doing that nationwide.
