My initial thoughts are I just see someone with a pretty good cosplay of Han Solo, rather than someone who's supposed to be a young Han Solo

I'm sure it'll change while I watch the movie though. Whether its a good or bad thing remains to be seen.

Dude might be the aire to Roger Deakins throne.

I remember being shocked that he was the first black cinematographer nominated for an oscar.

Even the Joker has MULTIPLE versions. I'm hoping for a good and smooth performance but
not looking for specific things. I want something new.

Are we going for the Harrison Ford performance? Because I think that's stupid and restrictive.

Nobody really asked for this movie plus Harrison Ford's body language in TFA was terrible.

Gambino on the other hand is a solid actor and would've been better served to play a major part in the new films vs. some retcon prequel.

On a slightly different note, Han & Chewie have been buds for decades yet it seemed like he wasn't overly upset over the former's passing in TLJ. They turned him into the Porg's escort.

Nope, i don't buy it...explain young lando to old lando, young obi wan to old obi wan...it's hard, but it's not out of the norm to cast someone who looks like the predecessor.

I think Han is an amazing supporting character but he can't carry a movie on his name alone.

Not going to see it. Star Wars watching fam also dont care to see it.
