what kind of HIIT do you do?

I do Battle ropes/Jump rope/Box jump circuit and I do it in the room where they hold zumba classes, ect.

Did Legs late last night, they felt good so I pushed it kinda hard.

Squat: 6 sets, Finished at 315 x 10 for the last 2 sets.
Leg Press: 4 sets, went up to 22 45's on the last set for 6.
Walking Lunges: 4 x 10 w/ 105lb barbell on my shoulders.
Bosu Ball squats: 3 x 10 w/ 135 lbs (Great for stability)

Do you guys have any suggestions for HIIT on an elliptical?

I've slowly been shedding weight since last year. I used to weigh 250 lbs. this time last year. I've managed to cut down to 217 when I weighed myself this morning and I'm doing my best to keep at it at a healthy rate. What's a healthy weight range for a male that's 6'2?

I did cardio and weight training over the summer, but since I started class, I've just been doing cardio on the elliptical. Are elliptical workouts good for burning the extra fat?

Much thanks as always fellas.

Ellipticals aren't bad but you can probably get the same result with weight lifting/diet.

As for HIIT, I'd think a walk for 2 mins, run for 2 mins might work. Just keep switching on and off.

I'm not really too sure about HIIT though since the only cardio I get is supersets.

____

Had a good workout today and finished in ~1 hour 15 mins.

Squats
Military Press
Rows
Pullups
Dips
Calf Presses
Face Pulls
Hammer Curls
Triceps Pulldown

I need to do this more often and shorten my rest breaks between sets to ~30 seconds.

strong entry, whats your diet like? any supps? what do you do for cardio?

i go to the track and run routes with my bros, or stay at the gym and hoop, its trimmed some fat, but im trying to get where you are but more like the 205-210 range

Pause. But, I wish I could see a pic of where everyone's at. It's easy to read something and think, "Oh he must be yollllked he know what he is talking about." But honestly, there are some form/diet nazis who think they know everything yet look and perform the worst in the gym. Post pics ya'll.

iLLest!
Couldn't agree more.  I'm 6'-0" 190lb.  I was fat/loose in the cage.  Some may remember me from the the P90x and insanity threads awhile back.  I just started lifting consistently (8 weeks).  Trying to make these gains!!  My major goals are adding some size, and REALLY defining my abs.

bra, all you need is more profound delts, then you're done, abs already look legit

How are all you dudes 6' or over under 200lbs?

Ya'll should be 220-225 lbs. If you've got the height, then fill out.

I carry a little bit more fat at 12% but I walk around at 195-200 at 5'7" and I don't go too crazy in the gym nowadays (used to though).

My gym got flooded due to the Hurricane and it's been closed going on a month now. Hopefully it opens soon. I've got the itch.

If some of ya'll want some reccomendations or advice on strength training or oly lifts then hit me up. There is a lot of BS out there that results in wasted time and money.

I don't know much about bodybuilding though.

Wow. As a 5'7 dude, I know that's beastly. I'm at around 178 and about 18% bodyfat. Ideally I wanna be around 180 lbs and ~10% bodyfat. I just gotta stay consistent, I fell all the way off.

I'm on my slow bulking.. No strict diet steez..

And yall wanna do a best bod comp..?

I guess I'll play.. Pics later..

Thanks man.  I have "dead shoulders", so I'm working hard on developing it.  I've just added rear delt flys to my shoulder workout in hopes to really add some definition and size.  Any tips?

Today was my monthly weigh in and I lost 12lbs in November. I lost a total of 25lbs so far

Honestly, my diet used to be real strict but I've let it fall to pieces. I eat pretty much whatever I want now...will clean it up come spring.

I take different pre workouts, usually come back to NO Xplode. For cardio I do the stationary bike on occasion but mostly just play bball. Like for about an hour a day, 5-6 days a week for like 16 months straight now.

I'm also trying to get to 210, but I'm having a real hard time breakin 200

Don't sleep on the legs tho can parallel box squat 315+ with ease

How do you guys feel about doing DB instead of BB bench totally? I feel like I develop more in my chest from it, and I just go harder on tris to make up for the difference.

I stopped squatting 3x/week cause i couldn't fit in some of my jeans after a while lmao. I just stick to doing 185 for 3 sets of 10 a week to keep them up to date a little. I've heard time under tension increases quad growth from friends, but i think its broscience

Man, my quads are similar sized, but my calves are like 1/3 of yours :{ I have the calves and forearms of a 16 year old. It's like I have to walk around in short shorts and wifebeaters if I want people to see that I'm in shape :lol

I still haven't found a definitive calf workout. Everyone keeps giving me conflicting advice ("x" works and "y" doesn't, and vice versa) and it's confusing as hell
