STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

I'm going to be going away to Jersey/Cali/Vegas starting this Thurs. I'm used to working out 4-5x a week. I'm going to have to get creative, but I see myself getting in 3 workouts this week, 5-6 the next, but only 1 workout that last week :smh

I'll probably be drunk most of that last week lol

Hey guys. I'm going to NY this following week, and I wasn't sure how I was going to hit my protein macros. I decided I was going to rely on quest bars rather than powder for the trip. Anybody have that GNC coupon for $10 off $20,or whatever?

Also, do you have to print it out, or do anything special to use it?

If you OD on quest bars, your poo system is going to get backed up and your stomach will feel awful.

powder+water=profit?

food? :lol

dont OD on quest bars, just eat some food brah

I'm in NY. I can't carry any more than a Northface backpack. I'm crashing on a friend's couch. Powder isn't going to work, and I can't carry my meals.

As for fiber, I eat 30-50g a day. Quest bars won't affect me.

There's no guarantee I can wash out the shaker at any time. Powder would make it smell disgusting in that heat.

You make it sound like you're going camping lol

To an extent, it's almost like that. It's not like I didn't give this any thought. I brought powder last year, it was a hassle. Why wouldn't I learn from a mistake?

i.e

decline bb bench 3x8

incline db bench 3x8

dips 3x8
Well duh.

My back day consists of 4-5 back exercises, 4 or 5 sets each and about 6-10 reps depending on the workout. Biceps follow with maybe 2 exercises, 4 sets as well.

I cant imagine only doing 3 sets.

I squat twice a week and do some bar squats to loosen up on other days. I think @red80  squats 3 times a week. Some programs have you squat up to 4 times a week with different variations.
Squats felt great today. I need to split up my squat and DL day though smh, did squats first and my DL suffered.

Who eats sludge here?

Right here... even though I've been baking with protein powder more lately.

2 scoops a day. How many are yall at?

Anybody here squat 2-3 times a week?

Still have my semi broken foot but been sticking to around a 135lb squat max. Feels great, the Adidas Powerlifts have been really helpful. After 2-3 days my legs feel well enough to squat again. Did squats on Wed, gonna go for it again today since im not going heavy anyways.

Twice a week for me. PPLoffPPL, although I do like to throw in Rear Foot Elevated Split Squats into my 2nd day alot of the time has a good carryover to hockey which I play.

Yup! Right now I squat 3x a week. Monday is 3x5, wed is 3x5 again but usually -10% unless I feel good and Friday is 3x3. I use RPE to determine the weights but sometimes I'll autoregulate.

Texted that GNC number posted a bit back. Went up to GNC, and had to renew my membership... $47 for 2 year membership, and the bars. They definitely raised the price on that program. It's all good though, I'll save enough money to make to worth it.

For those who workout out at gyms that don't allow chalk, this stuff is LEGIT:

You like it? I tried it and it didn't compare to real chalk like I hoped.

I just put a towel under my chalk box and go to town.

I thought it was a great substitute...I used it today for the first time (I go between two gyms...one allows chalk, the other doesn't). Today I working deads, and my grip was on point after applying the liquid. No complaints here.

Need to check that out...haven't really been giving DLs the attention they deserve since coming home from school, but I know my gym doesn't allow chalk

I always do 10 reps of everything and rarely or never max out. I figure going 85-90% full time builds better stamina but hey I dunno... Speaking of reps, was chilling with the brotha mr 49 reps stephen paea last week. Real humble dude :smokin

400

right now im on 15 rep everything

i superset also

after im done dropping bf% lil more im gonna be on my powerlift *%&^ with the rest of the NT fit fam
