How often do you suggest I do cardio? On a good week, I'll get in about 3 days of 30 min cardio.

As for the NO-Xplode. Do you recommend any other pre-workout? I've used NO-Xplode before it's worked for me, but people have been telling me to take C4. Any thoughts on this?

Do some HIIT during your cardio. 
 
They are prototypes. From what i've read, Nike is trying to cook a functional fitness shoe, not necessarily just for Crossfit. Some of the athletes at the regional games had some but they were all blacked out with no logo. They look dope and i want to cop a pair asap.

Thanks for the added info dude. I know Nike have signed up a few CF athletes and teams including Josh Bridges and Cf Invictus plus the NPGL is likely to be Nike sponsored soon.
 
Interesting to see Nike sponsoring some Crossfit athletes, even though they can't wear it at the games. Ready too see what they cook up in the future.

It's all good. Starting tomorrow I'm off 18 of the next 23 days. I'll probably be able to do some 2 a day workouts, except when I go away. Can't wait!

However much you need to do, more if you like to eat more, less if you can cut more calories without starving.

 Doing those things = profit = weight/fat loss in your case.

I was thinking of doing a 30 min cardio session and then doing some HIIT.

Sort like sprinting for 30 seconds and then taking a 180 seconds break. Wash and repeat for 3 sets.
 Huh? Why would you rest for 3 minutes? You sprinting on the treadmill?
 










Torn Petella. Yeah...thats my kneecap in the middle of my thigh. Hooping, dunk>land/snap>stumble>fall>hit on nurses that were helping me.

I used to bike twice a day for the last year, but in the last couple of months I stopped, so I need to stat running.

Damb. Get better man. That's a fear I had when I used to dunk.

i got tendonitis in both my knees, i dont even play ball or do cardio and my knees will randomly kill me :{
 
I'd try to explain but my medical knowledge is very, very limited.

Pretty much, the petella tendon snapped when I landed, the quadriceps tendon no longer had that counter pull, so it pulled my knee up i nto my damn thigh.

Anyone who had a similiar problem know of any good Knee straps? I'm trying to get back on the court...gotta develop a better shot though.

Bunch of athletes were going to start rocking them, and Reebok c-blocked. Rustled a lot of jimmies in the process.

Nike's version of the Nano? Not really, they're just finally getting into the market. They've tried before, so did Under Armour, but Reebok swooped in and inked the Games in 2010 for the next 10 years (Kind of like they did with the NFL).

Nike tried to sign Froning, and Reebok swooped in, this just happened a couple of days ago.

Josh Bridges wore a logo less prototype at the SoCal Regionals:

can someone explain the benefits of bcaa's and cla's for muscle retention.

the past month and more ive been getting back into lifting and trying to be smarter and stick it out. i only take protein on my lifting days as i am trying to cut up and lose fat. so my overall goal is to lose weight but keep the muscle i do build.

currently i lift mon (legs), tues (arms) and friday (shoulders, back and chest). with abs and calves incorporated everyday. Wed and thursday i work out with my dept (USN) so thats typically anything like pushups situps run etc. I rest weekends and do cardio such as stairmaster or bike or a long run on tues - friday.

any help is appreciated.

If they hurt they hurt. Doctors will ask you to either stay off of them or get something done. If you don't plan on getting anything done then save yourself the doctor bill and just ease up on them.
 
Iron Man what shoe model did Nike try to break in the crossfit world with before? I don't remember seeing a model aimed for that
