Bi/Tri's yesterday. Each rep slow, each rep stretched and contracted. Squeeeeze
My arms haven't felt this sore in months. I'm sure Kai Green wasn't the first person to talk about those lifting methods, but man am I still happy about seeing that video a couple weeks ago. My workouts have been amazing. It's been so much more exciting getting up early to go to the gym, because I know that my workout isn't about to be wasted. I'm lowering weights, not caring about others, focusing on form and hitting every rep properly. And man...what a burn with every muscle!!
Arms were sore as hell today but I still did shoulders. No pre workout sups for me,
I'm with the people who say its all in your head. Occasionally ill have a cup of coffee if I didn't sleep well...but for the most part a splash of cold water on my face, a bowl of oatmeal and peanut butter...then I'm good to go.
Once I actually do my first set at the gym and my bloods flowing, I fully wake up and get Into it.
It's why I tell my friends no explode and all that is cool...but you don't need it. You really don't. I promise the hardest part is leaving your house...get to the gym, stretch and do a warm up set or two...and You'll be ready to hit them weights hard!!
My shoulder workout today:
3 sets seated dumbbell press
3 sets heavy shrugs
3 sets standing barbell military press
3 sets dumbbell raises? I'm not sure what they are called, but I slowly lift the weights up from my hip up to my head and back down. Really burns the shoulder.
Feeling great at work right now, yesterday's arm workout soreness combined with today's shoulder pump got me feelin like Rambo at work.
(Even though I look nothing like)
Have a great day guys.
Remember to prioritize form over weight. It's only been a few weeks and its already made me feel stronger than I had felt in months with higher weights and weak form.
