STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

First week of me going back to the gym felt good. I missed this sore body feeling.
Ive been having this as my daily meal too.

Breakfast - Oatmeal
Lunch - 9oz Grilled Chicken breast with 1 cup sauted broccoli (Lunch is divided in to 2 eatings)
Dinner - 2 whole eggs, 1 egg white.

My weekly routine looks like this

M - (AM) cardio - (PM) biceps/back
T - (AM) cardio/abs
W - (AM) cardio - (PM) triceps/shoulders
TH - (AM) cardio/abs
F - (AM) cardio - (PM) chest/legs
Sat - (AM) cardio
Sun - REST

Feel free to point out where Im doing it wrong or anything. My goal is to lose as much body fat as I can.

Thats alot of cardio. Make thursday another rest day. Then maybe if you start to plateau you can add another day if cardio or add it to your pm workout. More dense calories also.

So i've been eating right for a month with Paleo and i had some junk food yesterday. Felt like straight caca afterwards. Looks like i wont be doing that again. 

Crossfit after work today, 6 mile run tomorrow morning, and maybe an 11 mile run Sunday before super bowl. 

MAKE SURE TO PUT IN THAT WORK THIS WEEKEND BRUHS!!
 
What do those watches do? What are they for?
Heart rate monitor, tracks calories burned by taking your BPM into account via chest strap/monitor and calculating with your height, sex, height entered into the watch.
Nice, are they waterproof? Would I be able to swim with one?
Yep, I've done laps in my polar FT-7.  The hear rate strap does slip sometimes as you do your turns, but it still works fairly well.
 
Yo - does anyone else not feel any sympathy for these skinny dudes trying to bulk up? Complaining about not being able to gain weight while I'm sitting here eating 1500 calories a day like a scrub. Nothing gets me crankier than trying to cut. I think I'm more pleasant when I try and quit smoking. :{

I mean, I do. I feel bad for anybody having a hard time reaching their goals, be that losing or gaining weight. The struggle sucks.

For the most part people who say "i can't gain weight" there not doing something right. Or there pretty boys with one of those 6 packs who didnt earn it & there too scared to eat a potato. You dont get big lifting weights. Wanna get big? Eat like a f'n man. I didnt get to 5'11'' 200 pounds 10% bf by eat lettuce & tunafish out of a can & doing abs everyday.

Eat big, lift big, get big. You eating big & still can't gain weight? Eat more. Dont worry about your abs in february...worry about that in April so by Memorial day weekend with your shirt off your lookin

Any Costco brahs with memberships, I suggest you try this. The taste may be average (personally I think it taste like anus) but the profile is ridiculous as a bulking snack. It's pretty rich so I'd suggest gulping water with it and the best part about it: a box of 14 costs about $15. I live in Canada so American price will be relatively cheaper.

Try not to eat it before a meal cause it'll suppress your appetite.

I buy these. Love them, and personally think they taste pretty good. Also, I put them in the fridge and eat them cold, makes them taste better IMO

I'm always looking for hints/tips when it comes to improving my diet. What does a typical day look like for you when it comes to food? How did you prepare it? Etc...

what time do you guys go to sleep ? i need that 7-8 hrs of ZZZzzzz?

Between the hours of 830 and 1030. I usually try to lay everything out including gym clothes, work clothes, make my breakfast, lunch, snacks, so all I have to do is physically get up. The preparation at night helps so much with the 5am workout. All I have to do when I finish is come home shower and get to work by 8 am.

It's a time commitment, but I only do this maybe 2-3x a week. Other days when I go to work later I get to th gym by 630.


It's not easy but I'm trying to stay committed. But It's rough at times bc it's so dang cold at 5.

No idea why. **** sucked. Went hard today, day 8. Triceps are DONE FUUU I'm struggling to even open my girls Stratus' doors, don't get me started on messing with a steering wheel 0]

Tomorrow seems to be a cardio day, will be watching tomorrow's vid in a few.

To the NTer who asked about wearing the HRM in water, yes, you can worry free :hat

I do intermittent fasting. Ive always done the typical 5-7 meals a day up until last spring when i found out about IF thru Low Carb Cory & TMW. I just got layed off from work so right now i train fasted in the morning & get my food in all post workout. 

Bulking i love things like Burritos, tacos, Chilli, stir fry, stews & pasta with sausage & ground beef, chicken. Things like that. Alot of quality food in there. Tastes awesome, its healthy. Burritors, tacos, & stir fry i throw loads of tomatoes, onions, peppers in there & hot sauce

Peanut butter & jelly is a staple while maintaining/bulking. This is slept on imo. Whole wheat bread, natural strawberry jelly, natural jiffy peanut butter

Protein shakes. When i have vanilla protein i get some frozen yogurt, almond milk, various fruits like bananas, raspberries, blueberries & blackberries & put in a blender. Good stuff. When i have chocolate i'll use 3 scoops, then 3-4 slabs of natty peanut butter, almond milk & blend it. So good all the time. Throw some creatine/glutamine in there if you have some.

Omelets are good also. If your bulking, have some f'n cheese & enjoy. Bacon is 100% fine. I did a write up on bacon on here a few weeks ago & got no love

Cheat days/meals. Dont get all crazy but put a day aside & eat what you want. Seriously. 1 day is not gonna do anything except fulfill your needs mentally & you can't wait to get back on the grind the next day.
