I don't think that you are even qualified to callsomeone an idiot!

As I stated earlier, those of you who really have question on how to train and get fit, go to MensHealth.com. Be safe and smart. The *internet professionals*here are not qualified to teach a dog to poop!

Really? How so? Proof? Do you claim to have knowledge in Exercise Science? Where did you learn, and then from who? Answer this first, then we'll talk about what I really know. Right now I say that you are not qualified to speak on anything in regard to exercise science, and that YOU should be banned for being a fraud.

Here's a question for you. If I am suffering from of the epicondylitis, what exercises should I avoid, and what exercises should I do in order to REHAB the injury, while continuing my workouts?

Yo...my man....you are ruining this thread. Just stop. I've been enjoying the advice in this thread for the entire duration until you came inhere spouting off. I'm not in any position to determine whether you know what you're talking about or not, but I do know that a lot of the advice inhere has worked very well for me personally. Don't ruin this thread for others because you don't agree.

P.S - you sound like a douche. epicondylitis = tennis elbow. all one has to do is google it to find out what exercises to avoid and how to rehab it.doesn't take a rocket scientist

GREAT ANSWER! But if you've noticed, I am debating with those who suggested that they somehow KNOW the deal. They didn't know things that are importantto know, in order to truly help someone, as they are not qualified to do so. And in regard to what you found out by *google*, trust, I know an internetresponse versus the real one, and then would be able to call them on it, including you, on it!

Nothing personal, but don't try and protect the phonies who claim to know what they know! Dude didn't even know that fast twitch muscle fibersdon't, *ahem* split!

I can also tell you about maintaining a neutral spine whiledoing it, and then how many degrees deep you should go if you cannot remain in YOUR neutral position during the eecentric phase of the movement. You know morethan me? Perhaps! But you are not starting out very well, in order to prove that!

I wouldn't trust these said 'professionals'. They don't care about who reads the stuff they put out or whether the succeed or not. They write just to meet deadlines. It's not like they ever interact with the people that read the magazines or try their workouts. If someone gets hurtdoing an exercise from the magazine and someone asks how it happened, when the response, "I was trying a workout from Mens Health and I got hurt" issaid, that dude is going to sound stupid. I'd rather get realtime advice from someone who has experience than someone who read about how it works and nevertried it. Atleast the guy with the experience can understand what is happening and maybe help to alleviate the problems that you go through.

Most doctors don't even take care of their bodies, how am I going to trust them to handle mine with strenuous exercise? Walk into a hospital and show meONE doctor who's fit and middle aged. I like to take advice from those who follow what they preach, not those who are'certified' to talk about them.

And you're definitely not in here to drop knowledge, because if you were, you wouldn't be so stuck up about it. Post whoring and name calling isn'tgoing discredit any of those in here that have helped others in the past. Either offer good info without attacking anyone or don't say anything. I knowthat I speak for everyone else in this thread when I say that we're tired of your irritating jargon and all of its clutter in this thread.

i claim i know more than you based off your nonsensical post about vertical leap, which you lamely defended for pages without providing a single shred ofevidence.

Nobody's getting banned for giving some tips and advice on exercise. Also, how are you calling me a fraud when you don't know me? OK, so for one postI'll indulge your little BS questions. I'm NASM and ACE Certified as a personal trainer. I'm also certified in pre/post natal training, strengthtraining and exercise for senior citizens and youth clients, as well as a secondary NASM certification in movement assesment, postural imbalance and correctiveexercise. I've been a successful full-time personal trainer for over 3 years and have been strength training for over 10 years. GFY.

As far as your little quizzes go, I'm not doing it. Somebody already answered your question, and while I can train someone to exercise around the injuryand still get better without making it worse, I don't have to prove it to you by answering. Also while I could tell you how to REHAB the injury, I'mnot a physical therapist, so I don't take on that type of responsibility with my clients. I refer them to a rehab specialist and train them when it isappropriate to do so. And seriously, of all the !@#$% that you could come up with you give me friggin tennis elbow? Again: GFY

I suggest that we just ignore this guy now. He's just looking for attention. I can absolutely promise you he's gonna quote this again and come upwith a bunch of other crap on how I don't know anything. Then he'll discredit my certs, and then he'll come up with another quiz or something.

But I won't! You answered the question wonderfully, and you sound as if you know how to be SAFE in exercise, while attending to special needsclients.

Bravo!

Now I am sure that you know that I don't have to prove anything to you as well, right? So all of that noise you are spouting about what I don't know,is really proof of what you really don't know.

I can introduce you to some folks who compete at the highest levels of weightlifting and professional strongman, who train under professionaltrainers, that do not know how to do a BB hack squat (because they've never attempted one).
There are too many exercises out there for any individual to know of every single one. Let alone the proper technique for all exercises.

And I can tell you that just because they compete at the highest level, that they go to ACCREDITED PROFESSIONALS when they need help.
