As far as a few pages back. My bad. Why bother getting married divorce and married again. You made a thread on monogamy before. It's not for you man. Divorce scares me (stress) an I know when that connection with a female catches you off guard......it's like damn....

But really though about monogamy, like Hollywood and RR were saying, it's just not natural, it can be done however but human nature has shown time and time again that monogamy is an exception even though it's supposed to be a rule. The percentages of marriages where NEITHER person has EVER stepped out is extremely low. It is what it is, been like that since man has been walking this earth. Even the social stigma of it doesn't deter a lot of people.

I tried...I really did, but point blank I'm more happy in the field, I'm a hunter at heart and that's just me. Ok so I can develop feelings and all, but after awhile I am going to get back into the hunt. Maybe if I sucked at hunting I would be more likely to maintain monogamous relationships, but I have developed skills and methods to make me more successful than not.

A man is only as faithful as his opportunities...which is just another way of saying what Hollywood said. If you have nearly unlimited opportunities then you are unlikely to stay monogamous, if you don't have many opportunities then you are more likely to play it safe because you wouldn't want to risk losing something you may not be able to get back again.

Natural selection is real...and it's not just in animals other than humans...just that as humans natural selection can also take form in other things not physical...like money, power, fortune, and fame. Women choose, men choose. Some have better chances than others...it's just the way of life and life aint fair, it just is.

The woman I have children with is a crazy B...BUT she's smart, educated (Masters Degree), accomplished (College professor and administrator) very beautiful, athletic (ran 200M and did Long Jump in College)...and she had two sons with me...it's no big surprise that they are in gifted and talented classes and amazing athletes already. Her and I subconsciously chose each other based on natural selection. Heck her new husband is the same way former college football player, now a assistant coach at a Juco in Cali, and they just had a son together...he gonna win the genetic lottery too.

I fear divorce myself, i'd only get married once. Most grown adult marriages that last i've seen though the dude is doing his dirt, but takes care of his wife 100% and she knows, but never ever ever wants to see or hear about it. When they do though, all hell breaks loose. It's like they understand the husbands need to be the physical being he is, but he needs to understand she wants to feel like the only woman in the world. That itself sounds like too much work, either not get married or don't cheat. Or just go the chinese massage route.

A lot of it comes down to the lifestyle u live too.  I'm pretty sure for a dude with a square 9-5 office job pushing papers, it wouldn't be too hard to be monogamous if he really had that mindset to do it.  But for a dude like me in the business I'm in, I'm around way too many glamour models, centerfolds etc. for it to be easy to say the least.  I'm not saying its impossible but its HIGHLY IMPROBABLE.  I have a son and daughter with 2 women that I actually like a lot but we all agree and have an understanding that traditional marriage life ain't realistic for none of us.  We all do our parts in making sure the kids are well provided for and that's that.  

Every man is different so I never knock the dudes that want that married life but it's not the way for every man

Monogamy can be done my dude, just more difficult for some than others. How does that make you a simp or a square? The post I made earlier was in jest...it was myself picking on myself for unexpectedly falling hard for a chick I met.

You give great advice my dude, it and you are appreciated in this thread, would hate to see you leave because of a misinterpretation...at the same time you are a grown man so if that's what you feel you need to do then so be it.

Life is life, it ain't about fair or unfair. I mean look at Lebron, Kobe, and Durant...those guys are rich and successful and have more than I'll ever have financially...but does that make it unfair because I'm nowhere near their level? Not at all, for whatever reasons they are who they are supposed to be and I'm who I'm supposed to be and all I can do is be the best me I can be.

I ain't gonna lie and say I don't feel like I've made a good life for myself.  All my cars/houses/money is cool but managing these models is a lot tougher than it looks from the outside.  Whenever ur dealing with personalities its gonna be a headache specially these chicks who are usually as crazy as they r sexy.  U gotta be their friend/advisor/daddy etc. all put together.  Being in this business I really can say these chicks that are in magazines/tv tend to be exponentially crazier than ur regular chicks.  I've just always liked crazy chicks my whole life which is why I can handle it.  A dude thats used to dealing with square chicks may off himself lol.

Nah I've def smashed a good amount of the models I managed, but I always read these chicks to see if they're one that I can do that with while having a business relationship with them.  This 1 really aint my type that much tho so I may just keep it business.  And as far as marriage goes, it aint for everybody so as long as u know that u good.

I understand it can go both ways but I just want to keep the family together. I see too many people around me married but living like single players. I don't want that but the longer she and I shack up I feel like that will be my reality.

I definitely don't want to marry just to divorce a few years later. So I'm stuck trying to live a double life.

Man being with someone for almost 8 years, then breaking up and going through all of that...I'm really enjoying no ties right now. 

It's been like this since 09, and I don't see myself going back to all of what a relationship entails. The freedom to come and go as I please, hit randoms, live alone, I mean that's more than enough right now. I definitely wouldn't be as focused.
