Chris, Houston, TX. Growing up my favorite team was the Houston Rockets (and always will be) but Penny was such a good player it was hard not to like him.
Everyone in my family liked him (bros and cousins) so anytime they televised a Orlando game we would always watch it at home. First time I bought a pair of
his shoes I wanted another pair but my parents told me to work for it, so I did. Working at a shoe store had its advantages because when they retroed his shoes
I always got the discount. Ive gone thru many penny's but as I grew older they didn't fit, so I would send them to my cousins who lived in Mexico sincethey didnt
have much money. Overall Penny was just a dominant player and having his own shoe that looked good just made it better.
I had more pennys (not the II's) but they helped me pay for books for school
Penny II are my favorite

Bar far, the most dominate player that would of taken over MJ. Even MJ said he was the next one.
I was 14 years old when i got my first penny I's White/White sz 9. I really wanted the OG colorway, but they were sold out when I found out about them. SoI ended up getting the white on whites, and now (14 years later) I am happy that I got these over the OG's (which retroed twice)....
