The thing is, Lin does better with the ball, its like his feng shui. With out it, his defense is like D.Fisher, always being burnt. If like to see Lin gut check Nene or flagrant someone or hit a .41 inbound gamewinner.

Has anyone ever been a bigger victim of backlash than Jeremy Lin?

Dude has consistently been a league average PG and sometimes better, but the way people talk about him you would think he was a fringe NBA player.

Technically he was a fringe player,

He played in great for like 20 games in super point guard friendly system then got paid big time

I don't think people dislike Lin because of race but they dislike the hype he got because of it

Let's be honest he's just an average a point guard and hes played for losing or underachieving teams in huge markets

I think Ming Yao broke that barrier and Lin has made people silly like MC Jin, so yeah.  I can't stand Lin at the charity stripe though, he's shaven clean in da pits.  Reminds me of dose K-drama type gals.  He's got to leave it out a bit and trim it like Isaiah Cannon, Wade, and Lebron.  He's definitely more received in certain markets, which is why LA took him.  He's bound to join the Clippers soon as they go multinational.

If anything, it's the contract. But I'm all for people getting that bread so he's ok by me. Career numbers at 12, 5 and 3 aren't bad. Especially for undrafted kid out of Harvard.
