you got players on the 6ers that wouldnt start for Kentucky. :lol

Henry Sims is starting right now for the 6ers, he is not starting for the Wildcats...

Knight missing the lay-up was bad, but I'm going to defend him a little bit. He clearly was focused on making sure he beat the clock and it took him out his normal rhythm. I've missed lay-ups before in similar situations. Not making excuses for him, but it happens.

This is all definitely true for sure. Still funny though that it happened to him :lol

6ers have less than 17 years of TOTAL nba experience in them

its pretty much a group of poorly coached college kids

Swag P with the influence. Yeah, yet another character flaw in Kobe's psyche, not being able to lighten the mood, and get players going, feeling at ease.

There is no doubt in my mind that Lebron is injured. Watching him ball, his not being able to maintain an athletic stance, hesitation with his footing, not sliding properly on the defensive end
Kobe better have Nick Young over for dinner on Thanksgiving.

I see it too, now, with Lebron.

Before I thought he's just going 3/4 speed.

I've seen enough of his games now to see A TON of small things, some of which  you mentioned.

He can't stop on a dime to change directions.

Hell he can't stop abruptly.

I don't think he has lost a step.

I think he is playing injured.

sidenote: It's definitely not the Shoes though, right?

but Mbah a Moute, Noel, MCW, Hollis Thompson, Wroten, and KJ would be a nightmare for the wildcats.

Bruh, lebron lost all that weight, said he was in the best shape ever, tweeted all those ayo pictures during the summer but now he's hurt? Not playing as well? :rollin

HGH > carbs

Yes. Its still a team of NBA calibur players which a college team does not have. I'm not gonna laugh at anyone who says that Kentucky could win, but I am just not believing it.

Are they NBA caliber just because they're in the NBA?

Think again. They are purposely fielding low level guys who would normally be training camp/preseason fodder. They had 9 dudes from last seasons roster that are currently not on a roster. That's never happened before.

Wroten n mcw would straight work them boys ...j rich might even get a few buckets
laugh.gif
As garbage as I think MCW is, yep, this is correct.

I don't think some of you understand how bad the Sixers are. They are unarguably the worst EVER assembled roster in professional sports history. Think about this in an opposite sense.

Put the current 76ers in the NCAA tournament. Do you believe that they would wreck their way all the way thru and win it all?
They had a lineup a few days ago of Wroten, Hollis Thompson, Luc Moute, Jakar Sampson, & Henry Sims.

That squad is vulnerable.

I'm a die hard Georgetown fan...and Hollis Thompson isn't a nightmare for anybody

off MCW driving and kicking it out to him, he would have 18+ easy from the college treyball line. with Luc Moute on the other wing he would def get that 18.

and hes gonna lock up Aaron Harrison.

I think dudes are just looking at the surface and seeing an NBA team without really analyzing the roster. They have a bunch of guys who wouldn't even be the 15th man on any other team.

Speaking of the Sixers, one overlooked result of their blatant tanking is the rest of the league getting stronger. We've heard the case over the years for contraction and we have essentially gotten one team contracted with this Sixers team. Since they have traded away NBA caliber players for D-Leaguers, it's made the rest of the league stronger.

Kudos to them.

HGH or no HGH I think he's playing with an injury.

Don't get me wrong, I think he was on it, and is now off of it.

If he is playing through and injury, it could have been caused from his bodies reaction to not having extra HGH it was used to.(who knows)

Brittle bones, or bone density.

Watch any of his last 2 games and tell me he doesn't look like he is cautious of how he stops, cuts, slides.

Like he's scared he's going to snap a bone if he stops to fast.

The 76'ers would probably win, but it would be pretty competitive. Hell, the sixers squad is made up of a bunch of guys who would be like sophomores, juniors, and seniors in college right now anyway.

Bingo.

Except they go against some of the best players every single day. That alone makes you better. Every single guy on the sixers roster got better since leaving college. NBA conditioning, strength, competition, footwork, speed, etc is far superior to anything they do at the college level.

What do these college dudes go against daily? 1 NBA player and 10 dudes who will most likely amount to nothing?

The gap in competition on a daily basis is huge. There would be no contest.

Those dudes would be the best sophomores, juniors and seniors though, that's why they are in the NBA now and not in college (on a crappy team, yes. But still in the NBA)

True, they would be the best college guys which is why I feel like the 76'ers would probably win. But kentucky has like 10 guys who are going to be in that exact position as most of the 76er players are now, come June :lol

That's why I don't see the disparity in talent to be that grand. Maginal.

Kentucky is stacked with talent, but the extra months or year those guys have of NBA trainning would make the difference IMO.

they should really make that happen :lol

Kentucky has like 9 to 10 legit guys that'll probably be NBA players very, very soon. I consider that to be going up against NBA competition every day.

Also, it's a moot point to go into dialogue with you over this, simply because we both have different opinions on the effect the NBA has had on these sixer players. Over half of the 76ers aren't legit NBA players to me anyway. I just don't see the talent, skill, conditioning, strength, etc. to be that drastic of a difference between a team like Kentucky, with a bunch of NBA players and the 76ers.
