The 50 Most Dangerous Cites in the world.

Glad to see no African cities represented except the South African ones. I would like to think Africa is improving but I know that most murders go unreported :{

South Africa has to do better :{

Brazil/Mexico:x :x :x are they gonna hand out bullet proof vests at the olympics and world cup?

I was wondering, do we know if certain parts of the world were excluded? (for lack of data for example)

Because some african city with them rebels and **** should be up there.

This, crime runs rampant in big cities like Lagos, Nigeria. I suspect it would be on this list if people knew more about it.

Brazil and Mexico dominating the list and sadly not sure if it will ever change.

Brazil definitely has been changing, I don't know what you're talking about. Brazil has nearly 200 million people and is one of the biggest countries in the world, so they have cities and areas that are poor, middle class, and middle-upperclass. The strides Brazil has made in just 15 years is phenomenal. Their GDP, economy, education, and way of life has improved and they are becoming one of the super-powers of the world. Brazil has a big middle-class, the problem, just like here in the States is, the poor are extremely poor but Brazil is on the way up. If you could invest in any country it'd be Brazil.

50-100 years from now, Brazil will be a powerhouse. Can't compare Brazil to those central-american countries.

my moms always told me to avoid Colombian, and PR women, broads is crazy...this list supports that idea

:lol :{

bruh!....Dominicans are not angels, trust me I MARRIED one :rollin

Dominicans are hot tempered, posessive and jealous as ffffff

Colombians just want your money, probably some of the most high maintanence type of females ive met.

back on topic though....really sad to see my city there, place is really very beautiful, nice metropolitan area sorrounded by these beautiful mountains, amazing food, beautiful women, perfect weather....but the crime rate is incredible....if you go into any of the towns, you best try and blend in as much as possible....stand out and you will get tested and these dudes really dont give a **** about anything....they'll pull an automatic on you and fill you with lead where you stand, i was born there and raised till i was 10, seen people get shot at funerals, i kid you not i remember being a youngin in front of my house and a crazy *** shoot out went off, gave nobody time to run....i froze...all i remember was my grandma pulling me in, once everything cleared, we go out....my front wall right where i was standing had about 15 bullet holes...i have no idea how none of those bullets hit me......really thankful i was brought out that environment, i really dont think id be alive if i stood there, alot of my elementary school classmates didnt make it passed 23....really sad.

Damn, didn't expect Brazil to go toe to toe with Mexico. Hopefully it gets better in Central and South America. I'm also disappointed with South Africa, always wanted to go there also.

Murder rates in correlation to population.. And people still asking if other american cities are on the list? Chi would need at least 2500 murders a year to make this list, NYC 6000 murders.

Sad, thing is I already knew South America was pretty wicked, but South Africa surprised me. Places like Lagos should definitely be on the list, tho.

So Brazil is off limits as a country.. dambs and Is on my bucket list to travel there **** beat couple of those infamous phat *****

Well Kingston fell off from where it was years ago. Good thing I guess, but i don't think the residents feel it any different.

Baltimore is lower on the list than I thought it'd be. There are these blue lights with cameras attached to them that go off and blink when there's been a crime nearby. I swear no matter where you are in the city, if you look left and right, you will definitely see a blinking blue light. The picture someone posted with the houses looks like North Avenue. It's kind of crazy around there, but its never like... crazy, crazy. One time I was leaving Penn Station and walking to the parking lot and a guy tried to rob us low key with a buck knife. I turned around and he saw me looking at the knife so he just proceeded to keep walking, turn the corner and rob the next people. On North Ave. you can see complete blocks just about vacant with people just selling on the stoops and corners.

Can anyone tell me what/where makes St. Louis so bad? I've heard this for years, but I've visited a few times and walked (what seemed to me) a large portion of the city and never, ever felt unsafe. It was also the cleanest city I've ever seen. People were really nice and I never felt threatened or anything.
