Where you'd cop from?
waaaaaay off topicOff topic but I went into a footlocker to try to stock locate some bred 1's
Dude looked at me like I was on crack
He said he couldn't locate any
Turned the monitor around to show me a blank screen...
I was like ok thank you have a nice day and walked away lol
Awesome to hear about the deals people been getting, but a double edged sword. As poorly as these sold, chances are we wont see any more XVIs for a long time.
These sold poorly?
I'm more sad that we only got 1 OG color for this release

Blame the $250 MSRP, Jordan Brand got too greedy with the pricing of XVIs and XVIIs.
I'm honestly surprised to hear the 16s sold poorly since the 2 limited colors are sold out and the white/blue isn't sitting in a fsr that I know of.
Every time it hits $200 on these sites, I see them dry up in sizes.

In my corner of LA, I never felt like these were widely available or sitting. The Footlocker I purchased from on release day only had about 8 pairs total, only two in my size 11. One had obvious flaws, the pair I took did not. They never even put the 16s on the shelf. By New Year's, any of the other stores I happened to be in over the holidays were sold out of my size or did not have any 16s, period. Here and there afterward for a couple/few months, I would see them on shelves but always in tiny sizes, which usually indicates it's the last pair or last size they have in stock. When I bought on release day, I felt like I was going to be sorry when, as many of us thought, these would easily be had on discount sooner or later. And while I see some of you have scored good, even great deals, the frequency of those deals and some of the efforts needed to get those deals doesn't have me regretting paying full price. It's difficult for me to constantly be on top of sales and price matches and restocks, whatever. But I definitely expected the navy's would ultimately be a lot more available than they turned out to be. As someone else said, weird release from where I was sitting.they sold pretty well since they're all gone. I bet few pairs will end up in outlets but nothing close to the TB III

The bag of death is always hit or miss. Worth the price of admission tho.

Actually pricing is normal compared to what they retailed for originally, in terms of inflation
They just didht retro them correctly besides these navy joints. Should of brought the 17 back in wht/blue and wht/red w the briefcase. I woulda had no problem forking over 250
And we need the blk red 16s jb please
It does suck in a way, but on the other hand, I've had the shoes and been able to enjoy them for months already. I legit wanted this shoe, so I wasn't inclined to sit back and hopefully A) be on the ball and know when a deal maybe popped up later, and B) be in a position where I could jump on it, especially if it required driving to a store or multiple stores. In retrospect, I definitely could've eventually got a better deal than MSRP, even on eBay, but it's all good. BTW, I'm from Michigan, too, and I know that depending upon the release in question, it can be maddening trying to score certain shoes there lolI mean they aren't anywhere in Michigan either. I did see them on shelves and surisngly on feet
they're gone from shelves so they must of sold but also weren't made in huge quantities dude to price and maybe popularity of the model. sucks to miss out on the extremely cheap price now when you think about it.

I definitely would've preferred to pay below retail, don't get me wrong. But it wasn't a shoe I was on the fence about, it was Christmas time, so I just said screw it and bought them as a gift to myself lol. Sometimes I'm too impatient, but I also don't enjoy chasing things down once they are mostly gone. A minor contributing factor was that I also prefer to buy in-store when possible so I can inspect the shoes. I would've been better off cost-wise if I had waited it out a while, but I don't really regret it on this one. Now, had it turned out that these truly collected dust everywhere for two or three months and then got discounted everywhere I turned with sizes available, I would feel otherwise.I figured I've been patient this long, why not wait for a price I am happy with and $250 was def OD to me.
I also knew that resell wouldn't eclipse retail so I'd get them for that in a worse case scenario.
