I've seen UCONN plenty and I get what Bazz means to them. They'd drop from 4th to near the bottom of the league, but my issue is that SK means pretty means as much to UC. Have you seen our offense? Completely revolves around him and everyone knows that. He still gets his 20 and he has to average more points in the last 10 minutes than anyone in basketball. Sounded like Larry Brown and Pitino voted for SK. I'm wondering how close the voting was. Not that big of a deal. Russ, SK, and Bazz has GREAT years. All 3 are getting 1st Team AA love from what I've seen so far. Just not going to let y'all make me seem like I'm an off base homer for thinking that he deserved it.
Cincy was just in the S16 2 years ago too. They played OSU.

Your main argument is he's the best scorer on a crappy offense? I just would prefer Bazz's all-around stats more. Cincy wins cause of its defense above all else so that why I hesitate to put him ahead of others. Still all three of those guys are top 4 guards in the country this year.

Uh, does the fact that they won the league not matter? Isn't that usually a factor. Ignore his scoring because he plays on a great defensive team? That's dumb. Quite a few writers are agreeing that SK should've won. Andy Glockner, Rob Dauster (UCONN writer). Not the biggest deal, again.

Late pass, but finally had some time to post up some pics. Ended up going to Aimes,Iowa for the ISU vs. OSU game. The Hilton Coliseum is a crazy atmosphere.
Wasn't expecting Marcus Smart to be that good in person. Dude is actually really efficient when he exerts himself. Doesn't dominate the ball too much and chooses his shots wisely. Obviously Naz Long hitting that three was nuts. Hilton was rocking for sure. Felt horrible for Melvin Ejim when he fouled out, they even played the Canadian national anthem for him since it was Senior's night.

Swear to god dude plays at a gym I hoop at every Saturday here in raleigh. When I tell you he shoots it from damn near half court with easy, it's crazy. Dude has so many moves to get you off balance or just hesitate and he pulls up dead in your mouth. Last week I seen him give the 2nd best dude in the gym 7/8 buckets game goes to 8. Cold dude with the rock in his hands.
