roy williams is an overrated coach.
easy to do that when you recruit top talent.roy williams is an overrated coach.
That's tied for the 2nd most ncaa tourney wins
man's a brilliant coach. his teams are always well prepared and ready to outperform regardless of talent levels.Great article on on the statistical improbability of Izzo's post season record

cliff notes:
It's not luck, you don't want to see Izzo in march no matter what the seed is.

by that logic.. shaka smart > roy williams.?Brad Stevens> Roy Williams
Think about it....
izzo has year in and year out over performed his teams talent. this year is another example. pitino is an all time great for those same reasons. k as well. calipari...well, he's overrated.so coach k is a horrible coach. so is calipari. izzo. pitino.
by that logic.. shaka smart > roy williams.?
izzo always has talent. getting top 25 recruiting classes consistently every year along with having players staying for 4 years is paramount to his success. Just cause pitino and izzo don't necessarily snag the top 5 players every year doesn't mean their teams are talentless.izzo has year in and year out over performed his teams talent. this year is another example. pitino is an all time great for those same reasons. k as well. calipari...well, he's overrated.
