Maker would only play the 2nd half of the season regardless right?

I know he's kind of been overrated but Maker/Bryant frontline with Yogi/Johnson/T.Will would be a force.

Crean would **** it up once we got zoned though

Yeah, they said the plan was to join mid year...

Alex Poythress staying(no surprise)
Jamal Murray missing his second EYBL session this weekend, missed the first session for the Hoop Summit...He was supposed to take a visit to UK after the game since the session is in Lexington.Cal has seen him and Murray twice in the past week.

Woody would be best to answer that

I honestly don't think Maker will ever play college ball. Him looking to enroll for the 2nd semester is pointless. College has never been that camps plan. Even if he commits I don't believe he gets cleared. He'll end up overseas imo

Fwiw its always been said that if he went the college route it'd be for an Adidas program

Every time I read something about him it makes me nervous to think he could end up at UK. Plus I don't think he would be that much of a contributor right away at the college level. However, If there was some coach that let him roam outside the paint and chuck it he might put up some decent numbers.

Maker will land in Europe.

Ingram announcing Monday at 6 at KHS. That Hogan heel turn treatment gonna take place

There is no way he picks duke announcing there does he?

His in home with unc was 30 mins long. "Looked disinterested" "it's like he's known where he's going for awhile" per non duke guys.

Crystal ball up to 73% for duke

Add on top of that state asst ranting on Twitter about duke most likely due to Ingram telling them no for Duke

Pass on Maker if he's only gonna be with the team for half the season.
Man you've said pass on a lot of dudes. Does Kansas have guys coming in that I don't know anything about?

I mean there's reasons behind this. I've only said this about Newman and Maker.

Newman because he's a "need to have the ball in my hands" type of guy. I see him as Josh Selby 2.0 ...wants to get his, doesn't care about anyone else. Frank Mason and Graham can handle the ball perfectly fine.

Maker because it usually takes a while for guys to get involved in Self's structure. He's stubborn. He makes you earn your playing time. If Maker didn't join the team until near Christmas, he would be way behind already...just wouldn't work out.

Malik Newman is about to announce for Mississippi State shortly. Anyone know who State would be next year with Newman?

I've seen Newman pass the ball way too much. I'm not so sure about him not caring about anyone else. Sounds about right on Maker but if Self is still offering him knowing he won't be there until Christmas he has to have intentions on playing him as soon as he gets there. It's not like Maker plans to be in college long.

Really? From when I've seen him play, he's constantly looking to score and create his own shot. (which is fine, just don't think KU would be the best fit then)...

Idk, just seems shady/sketchy that a kid would only want to play 2nd semester.

Saw him play a bunch of times when he was just a junior and they had a sophomore on the team, Mario Kegler, that was supposed to be pretty good. He deferred to him a lot. Guess he was trying to get the kid some exposure or something.

edit: Kegler is ranked 34 in next years class.
