I didn't say they shouldn't let him go eventuallly , just wait until he talks to the new guy. The team only has 3 guards if he leaves, he could get good minutes if he stays.

I'm just thinking more in terms of every second counts. They could let him go and he could be shopping around and still talk to the new coach when UF chooses one. I only care what is fair to the athlete. Perhaps a team has one spot left and he misses on it because the uni drags out the new hire.

Don't know how true this is but,KeVaughn's dad said that he was told that you couldn't be released from an LOI until the new coach is hired...Don't know if that's true,just what he said in the interview..

Yea, they aren't going to release him until the new coach can get an opportunity to convince him to honor his commitment lol.

I don't think this is the right time for him to leave after having heart surgery.  If I had to guess I think he turns down the Bulls job and takes the Twolves in the next couple of years.
