For those out of the know, Alford signed a 10 year extension days before taking the UCLA job. There were validated rumors that he was talking with UCLA during NMs NCAA tourney games.
Alford is a self fulfilling snake
. Both teams seemed way off their games (NM in the upset, and UCLA here). I wouldnt be surprised if he was gone by April
