The College Basketball Post

Turner definitely pulled an AD, I did not know who he was last year but he's a stud. Great defensive big man with 3 point range and already has solid post moves? I'll take it.

He and Mudiay could be just as solid of a 1-2 as Okafor-Jones. Jahlil might be a generational talent though, I've never seen a 17 year old big man with his skill and body.

All duke supporters seem to be higher on Hood than Bari which is something I've had trouble understanding. I watched a lot of tape on Rodney and he's definitely a baller but I don't find him to be more skilled than Bari. He probably will have a better season though since he'll be playing his natural position will Bari will have to play the 4 mostly

Just some UK news

Trey Lyles visiting for Big Blue Madness in October and possibly the UK Alumni game on September 9th,which would make his 2nd and 3rd visit

Tyler Ulis will be visiting tomorrow (Friday 8-16) has his list narrowed to UK,Southern Cal,Iowa, and Michigan State... UK hasn't offered him but the others have...

Tyus Jones will make an official visit to UK on Sept 27 this will be his second UK visit

Jahlil Okafor will make an official visit to UK on September 9th during the UK alumni game

Emmanuel Mudiay,Stanley Johnson, and Devin Booker will also be attending Big Blue Madness on October 18th

James Blackmon Jr.,Rashad Vaughn, and Kelly Oubre are all possibly attending BBM on the 18th as well

This is just a rumor so take it for what it's worth but "Sources" say Mudiay is down to UK and SMU

I hope we get Blackmon just because I'm still salty at Indiana for the Watford shot in 2011 :p

Wow :eek Larry Brown is really making a push to keep some local talent at home. I doubt Mudiay ends up there and SMU continues reeling in All-Americans like Keith Frazier but if Brown can just sign a couple of 3 and 4 star recruits from the area on a yearly basis, he could possibly be on the verge of building something special.

Think Cliff ends up at KU, Okafor at Duke, Turner to UK with Mudiay. He made that Anthony Davis leap in rankings.

If Cliff goes elsewhere I'd give ku the edge on Turner.

Rodney is gonna torch this year. Honestly havent been this excited about our wings since Luol was schoolin mogs

If these dudes skip out on the Kansas offer another guy KU has their eye on is Elbert Robinson. Dude is Shaq-esque with the skills to match. 7-0, 320 lbs and light on his feet.

How many PPG are you guys expecting out of Wiggins?

I wanna see 24.

Not saying he isn't capable, but 24 ppg is a bit much in the Kansas system.

Yea I see Wiggins getting 16-18 but very efficiently, expect a 60% TS. Seldon is going to look like a lottery pick playing next to him that's for sure.

Another thing, Self better adjust his system and let them boys get out and run.

Any time Seldon and Wiggins run the break together is going to be fireworks, bless all them poor kids playing defense.

I imagine Wiggins is going to be playing a good amount of PF unless Self changes things up a lot, he'll let his teams run but having wings create is like the last option of his offense. he will be a monster in that high-low playing the 4 though.

If Turner goes to Prime Prep this year, he'll end up at UK with Mudiay. Elbert is (or was) a semi-strong G'Town lean.

& I think it's pretty obvious Blackmon dumped IU for UK considering his father.

Blackmon and Lyles were supposed to be with us...I'ma need Crean to pull Goodluck and Whitehead now.

With Blackmon prolly heading to Lexington, where does Kelly Oubre go? I thought he was a UK guy?

You'll get whitehead, Joseph is going to cuse and there's no way Isaiah's going there with that crowded backcourt

Oubre is probably leaning Kansas right now, but I don't think Blackmon effects him at all.

Roosevelt Jones is out for the year. I couldn't really see Butler doing anything with him, going to be tough without him.

Angel Delgado to Seton Hall. Bit of a stunner.

Last years attendance numbers came out today UK lead again for the eighth straight year :smokin with an average of 23,099..Cuse second with 22,439,Louisville 3rd with 21,571 UNC 4th with 19,350 and Indiana 5th with 17,412...

I'll be happy with whitehead if we can pull him.

:eek Didn't know Turner was considering Prime Prep. I see they're going for world domination or something to that extent. They've been rumored to be bringing in Malik Newman from Mississippi and Duncanville transfer Omar Sherman is suiting up for them this season also. If they add Turner to a star filled team lead by Mudiay they should be damn near unstoppable.

Yea I'm hearing Newman said he wants to play with Mudiay in college as well, these kids too influenced by the Heat/AAU tryna make these super teams. Can't say I'm that mad at it though

I dont know man I feel like elite programs have always gotten multiple All-Americans. You always look better when your team is winning. Just like when Duke brought in Boozer, Dunleavy and Jason Williams. Jason Williams credited his talented teammates which allowed him to play one on one most of the game.

Prime Prep needs to hurry up and figure out the whole academics side of things. I want to see those kids actually get to play in college.

My gif Allen was because I think it's hilarious that he has to act like he might come here. There's not one person that is actually tuned into things that thinks he will, this is all him going through the motions. I just think it's funny that it even has to happen.

I think Vaughn has a 15% chance at best at staying home.

Reid Travis... I don't know. He quit football so Stanford might become less of a desired destination, although the kid is smart as hell though so who knows.

Saw Joe Coleman at a party yesterday. :lol Not at St. Mary's yet.
